It was worth the upgrade from the Mini 6 for me. I got $260 trade in credit for my 64GB Mini 6. I doubled my storage, doubled the RAM, and a got a more powerful processor.
This is worth it only for people coming off mini 5 down or needing AI. I have a 6 and on use it for light usage so I don’t feel so bad missing this update.
Here is a summary of the video for excited Apple fans: * The new iPad Mini 7 is finally here after a 3-year wait. * It has the powerful A17 Pro chip and 8GB of memory, making it future-proof with support for Apple Intelligence. * The jelly scroll issue from the iPad Mini 6 has been fixed. * It comes in two new colors: a lighter purple and a blue. * The base storage is now 128GB, starting at $499. * It supports the Apple Pencil Pro with features like squeeze, barrel roll, haptic feedback, pencil hover, and double tap. * Some things are still missing, like Face ID, ProMotion (120Hz display), smaller bezels, and a horizontal camera orientation. Overall, the iPad Mini 7 is a worthy upgrade from the iPad Mini 6 due to its future-proof features, increased storage, and the fix for the jelly scroll issue. However, there is still room for improvement in future models.
It's a good question. But why not go for the Mini 7. Probably this iPad Mini will be better supported in the long run. Especially with Apple Intelligence and the huge Specifications bump Manuel
Exactly. The time they release an ipad mini pro even if it takes another 3 or 6 more years is the time i'll upgrade. Will probably own a macbook by then but would still prefer a mini
Leuke video Niels! Ik heb zelf nog een generatie 5 ipad mini. De bezels daarvan zijn helemaal erg 😂. Merk je in praktijk veel verschil tussen 60 en 120hz? Of is dat vooral als je spelletjes speelt?
I love ipad minis. I am on mini 6 but i am skipping as i don't feel its worth the upgrade with the good points you mentioned (camera position, thinner bezels, 60hz, etc). A couple of these enhancements i will jump over to 7, the colour is so beautiful
I have a 128 gig mini 4. People spent 499.00 for a mini 6 with 64 gig. There was a 150.00 difference between that and 256 gig. On the new I pad there is a 100.00 difference. I am going to buy the 256 gig as I plan to have this iPad a long time. My 128 gig mini 4 lasted 9 years. With AI, you don't know how much memory the other apps are going to eat up so you are covered in that regard.

Damn they only quoted me 230

These 2 colors im debating ugh space gray or blue ?!?!
As a pilot and foreflight user, I'm curious if the system overheating problem still exists in the summertime...
Hi there !
I'm a student and considering to purchase mini 6 , i like to know how many years of update will mini 6 get ?

It was so incredible review my friend. ❤
Good luck 😊
I guess i'd stick with my current ipad mini 6.. If they release a 120hz oled display on a mini, only then i'll upgrade 💯
The regular iPad and iPad air don't even have that yet. lol

Fair enough! And glad we could give you a better insight
How is it for study purpose is the apple pencil effective in mini
More like the iPad Mini 6.1, it's disrespectful for Apple to name it another other. Honestly they could've just kept this as a thought smh
the jelly scrolling issue is happening when you scroll vertically not horizontally
Thanks for sharing Glory
Size remains the same ⁉️
No upgrade my mini 6 this year. Not worth it 😮
Sad update, wish it had brighter display.
True, one of the things that was welcoming
Has it jelly scrolling ?
What is that? Some kinda new iPad feature? I’m new to the mini series
No it was an issue people were having with the previous iPad Mini

9 years with the mini 4 is amazing. Let's hope you can get this out of the Mini 7 as well Michael. Where do you use it mostly for?
@@AppleDsign hello there, reading books and newspapers.
Pro Motion - Higher Refresh rate is deal Breaker. No iPad Mini this year as well. :(
amazing
Thanks
Yeah but...can it play resident evil 4??
I just got the remake on my ps5 it’s a must cop
gaming on apple device not worth it , overprice games
I haven't tried that yet. Good question
hello
i'm the first that comment and like the video
You rock!
Same same but different.
recycled parts😢
omg
outdated display technology and thicker bezel.. very much unbalanced device..😅
Yes some disadvantages. But I have to say the small and compact design really make it portable
