Honestly the saddest part of this entire drama for me was the fact that Wonderlab was removed from the PM website, which is a shame for how genuinely great it is. While archives of it still exist in some parts of the internet, the webcomic itself doesn't seem to be canon anymore. In my heart, it's still canon.

All the worst losses are art related, losing VellMori and dozens of PM artists (losing Ashy aka Dankestsin was probably my most felt loss) really sucks the most to me. Hopefully some of them may make a return.

A few also left afterwards due to harrasment from followers of the User Association, but since 7 Faust, Dieci Rodya and the apology by PM many have returned, but there is still considerable damage.
Not to mention a huge drop in Numbers on Steam and Mobile. I hope Canto 5 can bring things back somewhat, thought the Community will never be the same again, as many will activly root for Limbus failing in the future.
I’m a project moon artist, and despite consistently posting fanart even after everything happened, I felt so guilty because Twitter was full of harassment and doomposting and I only continued because I still liked the characters. I thought that the situation went something like what this video said because pmua released some info about it, but I felt like I was still in the dark because every single thing that was said would be followed up by just more and more doomposting. I guess I could say this put me at a peace of mind😊
The funniest part is I played limbus company, skipped the tutorial accidentallt and got confused and quit the game and 2 years later a friend told me "Bro free drunk office lady outussy" and i just NEED. Made a new account, actually play the tutorial, speed progress, beat refraction 2, get a good team, everything.
I think my biggest problem there was how non transparent PM was with the whole situation, they're removing one of the main artist in the game and they swipe it like it's a normal ordinary update, what's more eyebrow raising is why they were so hesitant to post an english announcement of the situation considering they always post english announcement always right after with korean and Japanese, It wasn't like until about a couple of months that they were able to give English users an update with the situation after leaving in them in the dark and it was just saying If you're posting false Information we'll sue you, THEN POST YOUR OWN INFORMATION OR TELL SOMETHING ABOUT THE SITUATION ANYTHING. I wasn't pissed about Vellmori being let go more I was just pissed how the situation was being handled by PM.
Yeah, I agree. The total silence was a mistake on PM's part. Giving out a generic "we're aware of the situation and are currently investigating" message would of cooled down the flames a lot during the height of the drama. Hopefully they will hire a full time PR/Social media manager going forward.

The exact reason why they decided to quit or if they felt pressured to quit is up for debate. We'll probably never know the exact details of what went down unless Vellmori decides to make a statement.

people got mad at an artist because of some deleted tweets about feminism. News outlet misreported that PM fired her and twitter tried to cancel PM. PM got audited by Korean government and they said PM didn't do anything illegal. The main Twitter group against PM is still mad so they leaked confidential documents that PM provided to them to try to clear things up behind closed doors. The documents revealed that the artist left the company on their own terms, received heavy compensation from PM, and requested everything to be kept private. Weird power play from the twitter group tbh.
I have no idea what happened because my ass start playing PM's games recently just to know every single tactics on how to fight and suppress any type of Project Moons fans (I'm done getting fucked by them in other games)

@@VitapCS well on the positive side note even if limbus will tank the revenue around 250k-600k(mobile only(i dunno about their steam revenue but probably around the same) we will be fine... PM also underestimate their own popularity and demand when limbus first launch making the premiere launch chaotic... I think this set back is also good for them so forward they will think things thoughtfully more... Also pm dont have publisher that will strangle them with target paycheck/revenue annually or even monthly ... But tbh.. having publisher will also help them with PR and manpower support even with ads... But well pm is quite daredevil for first timer gacha developer that have 0 experience on gacha game(live service to be exact). So yeah they wont EoS anytime soon because of revenue... My only worries are they will be EoS because of outside forces keep attacking them(PMUA and their union political backer)... As community we now should vigilant about any new association/organization that self proclaimed as "PM former user and stuff" high chance they arent... PM stayed silent for a long time leading to more rumors. it was later revealed that a lot of the statements made against PM was misinformation or false. It looks like the same group is trying to file a copyright lawsuit against PM on behalf of two artists that worked with PM before. It's mostly a nothingburger suit imo, but maybe Korean copyright law works in a really weird way compared to the west.

I’m a project moon artist, and despite consistently posting fanart even after everything happened, I felt so guilty because Twitter was full of harassment and doomposting and I only continued because I still liked the characters. I thought that the situation went something like what this video said because pmua released some info about it, but I felt like I was still in the dark because every single thing that was said would be followed up by just more and more doomposting. I guess I could say this put me at a peace of mind😊

The funniest part is I played limbus company, skipped the tutorial accidentallt and got confused and quit the game and 2 years later a friend told me "Bro free drunk office lady outussy" and i just NEED. Made a new account, actually play the tutorial, speed progress, beat refraction 2, get a good team, everything.

I think my biggest problem there was how non transparent PM was with the whole situation, they're removing one of the main artist in the game and they swipe it like it's a normal ordinary update, what's more eyebrow raising is why they were so hesitant to post an english announcement of the situation considering they always post english announcement always right after with korean and Japanese,
It wasn't like until about a couple of months that they were able to give English users an update with the situation after leaving in them in the dark and it was just saying If you're posting false Information we'll sue you, THEN POST YOUR OWN INFORMATION OR TELL SOMETHING ABOUT THE SITUATION ANYTHING. I wasn't pissed about Vellmori being let go more I was just pissed how the situation was being handled by PM.
Yeah, I agree. The total silence was a mistake on PM's part. Giving out a generic "we're aware of the situation and are currently investigating" message would of cooled down the flames a lot during the height of the drama. Hopefully they will hire a full time PR/Social media manager going forward.

@@simo9732While there's plenty of references and certain concepts may be easier to understand if you've done the other two games I feel limbus is getting to have its own space in the city. Hope they explore more offices and parts of the city though instead of revisiting previous things like a warp train again and again, not that it's bad but the world's so interesting id like to see more.

Yeah, I guess there's still a lot of misinformation going around. According to the leaked document, Vellmori quit on their own terms and PM gave them a departure package. The exact reason why they decided to quit or if they felt pressured to quit is up for debate. We'll probably never know the exact details of what went down unless Vellmori decides to make a statement.

Yeah, small group of people wanted PM to fire an artist for past tweets they made (they already deleted the tweets before joining PM). Twitter got mad when a news outlet misreported that she got fired. It was later found out that she left on her on terms.

They proceed to invade the PM offices, effectively threatening the safety of the employees.
(This was revealed much later into the drama) Vellmori contacts Kim Ji Hoon, the director of Limbus Company, announcing her retirement and wishing that she remains entirely private about this whole thing to prevent them from targeting her. PM obliges and pays her compensation.
Kim decides that the best way to prevent the invaders from going after her is by basically lying to the community and saying that they fired her within a notice.
This explodes onto PM directly, leading to the creation of the PMUA, a group dedicated to trying to enact justice over the incident. The Youth Union also targets PM for illegal termination.
Youth Union's evidence for the termination turned out to have been misinformation, leading to murky reputations among the union and the PMUA. They set up a meeting with PM and the PMUA over the deliverance of the Certificate of Contents.
This Certificate not only revealed the truth behind Vell's resignation, but also highlighted that PM has RECORDINGs of the entire conversation, but refuse to share them in public in an effort to follow Vell's wishes.

I don’t know the politics on the other side of the pond very well (though to me it sounds like a huge can of worms) but even so I can’t really be disappointed in PM themselves, their actions more so sure but that’s been done (kinda) for a bit, but I’ve been truly more disappointed in those who started the fire, while I admit my view on whatever is going on there politically is limited, I can’t feel disappointed in PM forever, rather, my disappointment is aimed at those who lit the match in the first place (what the internet calls incels). people got mad at an artist because of some deleted tweets about feminism. News outlet misreported that PM fired her and twitter tried to cancel PM. PM got audited by Korean government and they said PM didn't do anything illegal.
The main Twitter group against PM is still mad so they leaked confidential documents that PM provided to them to try to clear things up behind closed doors. The documents revealed that the artist left the company on their own terms, received heavy compensation from PM, and requested everything to be kept private. Weird power play from the twitter group tbh.

Yeah, unfortunately we won't know for sure how much damage the drama caused until we see the revenue and player counts for Canto 5 and the new battle pass.
@@VitapCS well on the positive side note even if limbus will tank the revenue around 250k-600k(mobile only(i dunno about their steam revenue but probably around the same) we will be fine... PM also underestimate their own popularity and demand when limbus first launch making the premiere launch chaotic... I think this set back is also good for them so forward they will think things thoughtfully more... Also pm dont have publisher that will strangle them with target paycheck/revenue annually or even monthly ... But tbh.. having publisher will also help them with PR and manpower support even with ads... But well pm is quite daredevil for first timer gacha developer that have 0 experience on gacha game(live service to be exact). So yeah they wont EoS anytime soon because of revenue... My only worries are they will be EoS because of outside forces keep attacking them(PMUA and their union political backer)... As community we now should vigilant about any new association/organization that self proclaimed as "PM former user and stuff" high chance they arent...
