I've been playing it loud with earbuds in with my eyes closed and it's so abrupt when it ends cuz im literally in a trance. Music that can do that to me is oh so precious! Excited to have them delivered from the post. I will even be turning my phone off that night!! I
You either make music for a living or you live to make music. And Lacrimas Profundere decide that now was the time to Make music for a living. They already gave us the first 4 albuns to remember them by what they really are. Now they just want to make money..and i actually respect them for their choice!
La Naissance D'Un Reve is one of the best doom albums I've heard! Sure, you have the classics from My Dying Bride, Candlemass, Paradise Lost, Anathema etc. But in my opinion they just never came close to the epicness that is this album!
I started piano in Kindergarten at age 5 and also then flute - drums in marching band for high school and still flute for concery and symphonic band and guitar for me alone.. I don't have my flute anymore, butstil play my violin and guitar not so well, but for myself. I wish i wouldve not quit piano lessons when i got older but i did, still play it, but can't do the pieces I once did. When I hear this band and Apocolyptica ect I wish I wouldve stuck w/it instead of chosing to party w/my friends!

the photos are from the current line-up, but this song is from Naissance d'un Rêve when they still were doom metal... the growls and the clean are from the same singer Christopher Schmid (brother of Oliver)... now sounds more like HIM and that comercial goth rock... sad, Memorandum is their best work.

The Dj at the underground klub with all candlelight i mentioned before would love this.. *sigh* oh to dance in the dark with candles flickering wearing boots and electrical tape and guys in fishnets and combat boots long black hair and more makeup than meeeee in a rubber shirt... wow my mind goes in a really sacred sopt listening to this.... i have my earbuds in so it's all just literally floating in my head. ♫
i heared that chritopher was in a great chance to have throught cancer if he kept on growling..bad news and anyway he was the best in doom growling..one of my best bands ever..
