I don't care what people say, but Chanyeol and Sehun, are such an effective rapper to EXO, they give so much color to their songs, i mean everyone is great, but i think it was a great choice to pick Chanyeol to be the rapper. 🥰
My fave 3 off this album... Forever, Going Crazy, and Diamond! But if we count the repackage I have to slide "Sweet Lies" right to the top, it is still my absolute favorite sidetrack!
Whenever you ask if one of the members is really doing that all I can think is.... You have to watch these songs in live performance! You think D.O. brings soul in the studio, on stage it's like another level and the same goes for all of them. And they add variations and expressions every night, it's amazing

Ex'act was and still is an amazing album and was one of their very bests but the inclusion of the other 3 songs just brings it altogether! Edit: Lay sings in the Chinese version of she's dreaming!

This was wonderful, thank you Caitlin! I have a breakdown every time i listen to Chill so it’s probably my favorite! (but yeah Sweet Lies is even above that!) The War is definitely the album i have grown to love and appreciate more over the years.
My favorite song on this album, not including the repackage songs, is probably Chill. I love the instrumental so much, especially during the rap. But Sweet Lies is my favorite if it's the repackage. Boomerang and Diamond would be my next favorites. Though, I should mention that because of the way title tracks have an mv and they're promoted the most, I tend to separate them from the albums in a way. Like, I don't know where I would put Ko Ko Bop in a ranking of the songs. And same goes for all other albums from any group, that is given I listen to the entire album- it's a bit different if I'm not super into a group but I like the title track and a couple b-sides of an album.
