Hey Thanks for making this video! Pump still working? Do you know what their incoming pressure is before the tank? I have a friend who wants to install this but they have 30 psi city pressure, too high for pump?
With a pressure tank your pressure will drop and then the pump will kick in to build the pressure inside the tank then cuts out. The pressure in a pressure tank will varies obviously with cycle. Once the pressure tank reaches its maximum pressure it cuts out. Once the pressure drops it cuts in. With the burcam booster pump. This pump turns on based on demand. Once you turn on a faucet the pump detects water movement and activates immediately giving you the desired pressure over the time that it is needed. There is no fluctuation. Also with this on demand pump energy only is consumed when the pump is needed. Unlike the pressure tank, the pump will run regardless if a faucet is on or off once the pressure tank isn't filled to the required preesure. The on demand pump have dry run protection as well. Once there is no water the pump won't operate. There is many pros to this pump but these are my top three. *Reduced energy consumption *Instant pressure *Dry run cut off I hope this helps.
Bur-Cam pumps and water booster pumps are absolute trash ! after a year of use mine broke down. The buna seal burst and the buffer plate between the dry side and the wet side got shredded by the shaft. The shaft was pitted and had deep scars on it. When I ordered a new buna seal and installed it as per instructions the sensor which turns the pump off failed, then the new buna seal burst again. When I was installing the new o-ring and buna seal I noticed a large spring washer sticking out at the fan end of the motor housing. I pulled it out with a flat screw driver. How the hell that thing get loose inside the motor chamber is beyond me. Good money and hours of work for a piece of garbage ! Never buy from this company, they sell rubbish.

Hi can I install this pump to a borehole or well
Yes you can. Vertical lift cannot exceed 25 ft though. Be mindful of that. It's an important factor.
Can it be connected directly to a shower to increase pressure on a shower head?
Yes practically it can, just ensure you suction (vertical lift) is no greater than 25 ft / 7 m.
@@iTravelKN Thanks, how does it differ from the one with a pressure tank.?

you are meant to do 3' of straight 1" pipe at the outlet. It voids the warrant if you do not do this. Bad instructions.
