Yes! The playlist! I love everything citrus. I even grow them as bonsai. My favorite is what I call "Asian grapefruit." Some people call it a pumello but it only looks like that on the outside. Inside no pith, pink flesh very sweet, no bitter at all. Been enjoying your channel for a couple of years now. Appreciating all you do. There are some varieties here I haven't tried yet. I'll have to hunt them down. (Buddha's hand can be candied.)
Congrats on the 50k subscribers! I like this summary. A few fruit family videos would be cool but next time if possible let us know what episode the fruit is in so for the ones we haven't seen we can find it easier. Like what episode is the Crocodile egg lime? I don't remember seeing that video.
I love nothing more than in season citrus. Cara Cara is my favorite easy to get orange during the season. It has a bit of a bitter under tone with lots of juice. Yuzu if you take the skin and mix sugar into the skin in the jar and wait for the sugar to liquify you have got Yuzu tea. It is made with hot water and a good amount of the skins and liquid but it is the most refreshing cold tea tincture actually that I have ever had! So so refreshing unlike Maine right now at 90 something degrees on my birthday. :-)
Sweet Lemon is for sure a personal favourite of mine. Also would like to try finger lime some day. Sweet lemon is very popular in Iran and among iranian immigrants around the world. Also - revisited that original video and it seems that you waited quite alot of minutes before you ate it. They get less sweet and more bitter and sour by the second after cut opened. Maybe retry it and it wont taste as bland? Keep up the good work and congrats for 50K.
In the video I think you should mention that there's a list of links in the description. Other than that it's fine. I can't believe how many citrus fruit you've tried!
Papua New Guinea looks like it might have some interesting fruits (link: www.researchgate.net/publication/311608778_Indigenous_fruit_in_Papua_New_Guinea ) Also South Africa could be interesting as well as the berries found in the Nordic countries (and maybe Canada).
Weird Explorer I like that plan! I'm sure you'll already have at least another year's worth of video ideas floating around already, this channel is going to have a brilliant future =)
Try a garcinia video! Also, if you only had the money to visit one place in the world on a fruit journey, where would you go? I wish I could do what you do, but its quite expensive to travel.
I wish I could find the limetta in the states. No one knows what I’m talking about when I ask around. I think the fruit you showed is the same one I’m thinking about.
That was pretty awesome but it looked like you had white sapote in there. Did I'm not sure now...it seems like it could be though. I thought white sapote was casimiroa and not related to citrus. I'm also drinking brandy and lemonade. : ). Love your videos, and thank you for doing them.
I've been trying to find a tangerine variety that starts with an "H". I THOUGHT it was called "Honey Tangerine" but that's actually not it. Do you know of another?
You obviously have a great source of citrus but you cutting them wrong you need to cut them horizontal against the stem instead of vertically they just look so much better that way
I love this video, but I love all your videos, so I may be a little biased. Whenever I give advice to people who make videos I always say do what you think is best. You're the one who has made it as far as you have making the decisions you've made. Also you're not going to please everybody.
Here's a playlist of all the citruses in this video!

Did you like this kind of video? If so, let me know what type of fruit you'd like to see next!
Ackees would be cool maybe (not like this video, just the fruit in general lol)
@@aphaxtwan he's already reviewed each one
Ah, dang. Where?
Maybe you could do a compilation of the most expensive fruits you've reviewed, eg. The egg of the sun...?
@darkness Maybe with a shorter list of fruit, for this video though it would have been way too long

Good idea. I just made a list of links in the description. Was planning on putting cards but YT only lets you do up to 5.
Thank you! That works great.
Thank you for going to the effort of putting links to all the videos in the description :)
BIG LEMON
Is that oh no fruit..
Noni
Pls don't tell me you did it again you absolute madman
Would you consider doing a series on heritage varieties?

Two totally different fruit requests : tomatoes ; olives. Thanks so much for all you have done for me and the other epicurious adventurers! 🍉🍊🍇🍄🍒🍅🌶🍍🍌🍆
Olives are on the list. I have an heirloom tomato episode :)
@@WeirdExplorer
Great! Thanks man. Chill. Ever done peppers?
any chance you're going to do pawpaw varieties in september?
Not this year
okay, but i'm going to start planning my "pawpaw review 2019 party" right now.
Weird Explorer are you by chance going to the Pawpaw Festival in Ohio again? I'm planning to go on Friday. I'd love to get a chance to meet you.
Blood orange and grapefruit are my favourite, but I am starting loving lemons as well
Holy shit pog the next episode is gonna be 10 best fruit!
That was like a 3 minute encyclopedia. Awesome! How about Garcinia next. Something to recover from noni.
Good idea!
Cool vid! Blood orange is my fav n this vid.

It isn't by the second, it is from formation of limonin, which takes minutes at the extremely low end, and up to hours potentially.
We have sweet lemon I can bite into it so yummy .
In the video I think you should mention that there's a list of links in the description. Other than that it's fine. I can't believe how many citrus fruit you've tried!
If you haven't tried a satsuma yet, I would highly suggest it. One of the sweetest citruses I've every tasted.
Very Cool...... Love it!!!! Great Job.

These are perfect for directing viewers to when they ask "have you reviewed (this) fruit?" =)
Haha thats true! I should make a mega video of the fruits that I get asked about the most often.
Weird Explorer I like that plan! I'm sure you'll already have at least another year's worth of video ideas floating around already, this channel is going to have a brilliant future =)
Noni's the star, obviously.
Try a garcinia video! Also, if you only had the money to visit one place in the world on a fruit journey, where would you go? I wish I could do what you do, but its quite expensive to travel.
Good idea. And try Borneo: amazing fruit, people speak english, everything is cheap... can't go wrong.
I love your videos
Try some canapes (also called spanish limes) they grow on the trees in puerto rico 🇵🇷 they taste like a bitter grape. Very good.
I wish I could find the limetta in the states. No one knows what I’m talking about when I ask around. I think the fruit you showed is the same one I’m thinking about.
I can't do the texture of citrus fruit but the scents....I go bonkos for the smell of citrus.
That was pretty awesome but it looked like you had white sapote in there. Did I'm not sure now...it seems like it could be though. I thought white sapote was casimiroa and not related to citrus. I'm also drinking brandy and lemonade. : ). Love your videos, and thank you for doing them.
Yes, I noted "same family" by it to mark the distinction. Its not citrus, but a relative.
How was the Beal fruit and sapote? I heard of them but never tried them.
Go check out his video reviews on them.
Where do you find all this fantastic fruit
Markets, gardens, agricultural parks, foraging and generous friends
Hey I was wondering if you've ever tried Shikuwasa (Citrus Depressa), I had some on Okinawa and especially the lemonade made from it was great
You didn't ever eat the "Mapo"?
hybrid between mandarino and pompelmo?
Nice !!! 🍊🍊🍊🍋🍋🍋😉
50 citruses (citri?) for 50k!!! Who knew there was so variety in the citrus world?
There are soooo many more too!
Just like there are many, many mango and avocado varieties
Mok the Magic Man OMG I WAS ALSO THINKING THAT PLURAL OF CITRUS ARE CITRI
I don't think you've reviewed the Flying Dragon (Poncirus- same family as citrus: Rutaceae) yet.
I haven't. Just was contacted by someone who is planning to send me some though, so that may be coming up soon
very cool!
Was that...a white noni?
I've been trying to find a tangerine variety that starts with an "H". I THOUGHT it was called "Honey Tangerine" but that's actually not it. Do you know of another?
Noni 2: The revenge
Maybe he'll age them properly so they're more palatable?
Which one is your favorite?
Have you ever tried a Louisiana Satsuma? They are in season and delicious
Yep! I have an episode in the works for that one
@@WeirdExplorer Awesome! I’ll keep an eye out for it! The satsumas this year got pretty beat up with the hurricanes but that just gives them character
try the sorb fruit!
1. That's nuts.
2. I think you double-dipped on the calamansi.
3. Sapote/ zapote is citrus?
white sapote is not a citrus but its in the same family
You obviously have a great source of citrus but you cutting them wrong you need to cut them horizontal against the stem instead of vertically they just look so much better that way
Hey it's me another loser, i love you video and i really enjoyed them
I (vitamin) C what you did here.
Centennial variegated kumquat.

That’s A True Oh No.
300 hype
I have bigggg lemon in my house
Nice, but White Sapote is not a Citrus.
Oh no! You're going to subject your self to Noni again? Why? 😂
I found different varieties :/
@@WeirdExplorer I don't know if God is real, but based on your last Noni video, I'll pray for you! 😂
Thank you Amanda. I still see it when I close my eyes, but I did survive the experience thankfully.
What is the difference between mandarin and tangerine? I just bought a house that has one of these types plus an grapefruit and lime tree
Mandarin refers to several types of fruit. I believe tangerines are a type of mandarin. so are clementines and ponkans.
(Sees preview) Uh oh, I see pain in your future.
What is that oh no a fruit or what?
Noni.. my arch nemesis
Oh man... Oh man! What have you gotten yourself into again?!
I know! Its so bad D: Now I can lay it to rest though.
What song is that?!
You didnt have a Russel river lime (citrus inodora)
Oh no. Not citrus again
Longer hair suits you :)

I want your life.
I don't really like this kind of videos. I think it lacks something to make it interesting/entertaining/useful. Not sure what.
Its a wierd documentary about a person eat and explain the wierd fruit that he eat.
