He, and the scene they added with him and Iroh at the funeral, were truly great. It's so sad the dialogue had them over explaining every little thing because they think audiences are stupid. Hopefully they take the reviews to heart, and have better writing in the next two seasons.
Bro don't got the accent though which is an endearing part of the character but I guess different accents never made sense in the Avatar world when everyone speaks the same language for some reason
I think Zuko, Iroh and Ozai were the best. Katara and Aang are also great, boy Gordon saw atla 26 times to perfect his Aang and Kiiawentio is a die hard atla fan, in the interviews they are awesome, but the direction in the series wasn't that good and it reflects on their characters
I haven't seen the live action series but the clips in this compilation really drive home to me how Zuko was a TEENAGER. I watched the animated series when I was like 9 and it's crazy to me how I am now 10 yrs older than this character. In these clips this actor really comes off as a very realistic awkward, angry, and hurting young guy who has been thrust into a destiny he wasn't meant for.
Zuko was the highlight of this remake. The only one who made me feel things, convinced me of the performance. If only the rest of the cast did the same. There was potential, but the actors weren't directed well (not to mention much of the dialogue didn't help them). Dallas rocked it, though. They did Zuko right
I looked closely at his eyes and I noticed that his eyes have something called the epicanthic fold that most Asians evolved to have which also makes their eyes have that narrow almond shape to them.
Albert Kim-"Well, there’s certain things you can draw that when you’re trying to translate in live-action are incredibly complicated, both practically and financially," he said. "There are so many epic sequences in the original series that I wish we could have done, but it would have just broken the bank many times over. The Northern Air Temple episode of the first season is a finale in itself, and if we had tried to do that we would be blowing all the resources right there. So, we had to pick and the toughest part of this process was deciding what to leave behind - and I’m sure there will be fans who are not happy that they didn’t get their favorite episodes and their favorite characters, and all I can say is it pains me too." He added, "I wish we could have done all of them, but there’s the reality of creating eight-hour-long episodes for a serialized drama and also expanding the world in places and telling new parts of the story that hadn’t been told before. That takes up time. I think people think it’s as easy as saying, 'Well there are 20 half-hour episodes of the original. That’s 10 hours. And there are eight one-hour episodes of the new show, so they only needed to make two more episodes.' But it’s not exactly one-to-one there, so that was the process we went through."
"...im working on it uncle..!"
He went from yelling at him to shy
I'm working on it uncle" *tucks hair behind ear*
So cute! 😭 (*falls in love*)
Zuko has two moods. Sweet & Sassy
And angry.
"Teeelllll meeeee" 👁👄👁💅🏻is legendary
😂😂😂
Lol
I came here just for that😂
@@familysized samee
The live action had its downsides, but man, they nailed Zuko.
I know, I wish people on the internet could see it in shades of grey.
Fuck they did not this zuko gay and lame with a big head and a high voice
Nah
@@slenderman2741 exactly
And Sokka and Iroh
I'm waiting for
"Hello, Zuko here" and "that's rough, buddy"
I bet Dallas is gonna kill it
He definitely will. I am so excited for book two!
Yeah Dallas is an amazing Zuko
If they don't do "Hello Zuko here" it would be a sin. 😂
@@scottkuyawa67The whole community outta freak out!
With how they wrote season one I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do that 🙃
Zuko in animated : Help me capture the avatar 🗿
Zuko in netflix : He rann 💅💅
His " tell me " is so cute 😭
I can forgive any flaw of Netflix show because Zuko was perfect 🥰
Zuko and Uncle were the only reasons I finished the show and will continue watching.
@@dr6959Iroh was perfect too❤

Toque o Dallas James New é gay❤
I still can't decide which one was better:
1. Tell meeee ✨✨
2. He ran!💥💥
Help!!!!😂😂😂
Both!! 😄😄
How about this?
1. “I don’t need fire to defeat this boy.”
2. “You have my notebook!!” *Uses fire to defeat this boy*
Number 2, I think. 😆😆
He rannnn💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽
And hand up 😂😂😂
He's zesty but he definitely killed the role.
I liked it, it kind of conveyed confusion and disappointment at the same time.
I have mixed feelings about the new live action but something I do like is Dallas’s acting, he’s doing a great job as Zuko
agreed, i think dallas did the best job w zuko’s character!!
" Tell Me " has my heart 🎀🥺
Two words "he ran"
Mix of anger and awkwardness 😂
Okay but he does kinda sound like Zuko😭this is cool
He was a great zuko, he really captured that teen angst without being "netflix edgy"
Zuko being teenage boyee
sorry but the "tell me" this boy is too precious, protect him
It's the "Tell me" for me 😂
“Faaaatherrrrr, when will I be able to come hooooome ????” 💅
LMAOO NAHHH why does this fit so well w him

@@The_Hunter2K19I've got the whole worldussy
literally the "tell meee" has such fruity pinnochio energy
LMFAOOOOOOO NO YOU DIDNT
The "I Don't like him" and the "i didn't ask for your opinion" caught me off guard 💀💀
“he rAn!💁♂️🫦💅”
“The plan is to take what was rightfully mine!”
“So no plan?”
“I’m working on it uncle🙄”😭
Zuko was the best part for me 😂😂
he was the only character they didn't change beyond recognition tbh
My favorite line “HE rAn!” The voice crack is everything
He did that mirzapur "I'm working on it"
??
He sounds a lot like Dante Basco too 😭
To be fair the first instance was just stupidity on the lieutenant's part
“he ranah”💀
“I don’t need your opinion” Zuko really delivered sass on that one
Zuko in the remake is the best casting they could possibly find
Nah but bro actually looks like the monkey king with those side burns
He is so sassy
I’m here for it
The actor of Zuko did really good! He gave the character more depth instead of just simply being obessed with capturing the Avatar constantly.
Bro lieutenant Jee looked kinda confused to be honest
He stole my dream journal!!!
Why is he so zuko 😂😂😂
"It's a terrible... plan!"
It's a terrible... PLAN!
Personally I think Iroh had the best casting choice
Iroh and June
I think Sokka was

The way his head moves side to side when he calls jee an idiot is so funny
i dont love the live action but i am genuinely excited to see zuko's arc again. i love the interpretation so far
Yeah I figgured that as I was swimming away from the burning wreck of my ship. Lol oh Zuko we do love you.
He’s the best part of the show imo.
He nailed it for me
I love just the simple “can we go any faster” 🙂
The reason i kept watching the live action it was his character and he become my favourtie character in the show he did great job
“He RaAan 💁🏻♀️💅🏼✨” is just my go to when I wanna have a good laugh
Zuko with lieutenant Ji was always a highlight.😂
I just noticed he has lovely lips ❤
I imagine live zukos shoulders must hurt from carrying the entire show on his back
I don't need fire to defeat this boii~😭

Prince Zesto 💅
Can't wait to see him untie his hair and Toph and Aang when he has a hair
HIS VOICE IS TOO SEXY I GOT PREGNANT JUST BY LISTENING TO THIS
Bro needs a glowup💀💀💀
That first clip.... I mean, yeah, he's bratty. But is he wrong? lol
The way they handled Zuko was probably the only thing i thought was done well in the live action
I am in lovvvvvvvvvve. 😂❤
It reminds me of Pinocchio - ,,but father, when can I be on my owwnnn"
With long hair he looks like Shang Tsung from mk
crazy how they gave zuko way more character than the og,, but less character for netflix aang than og
THE VOICE
He sounds like a Male Karen wtf lmao
He looks and acts like my brother- 💀
He still acts like the actor from Pen5
Why is this so funny 😂

Still surprised there’s a scene where Zuko has his hair down
Beautiful zuko woman

They could’ve done better in the make up
Yea i think they could’ve done the scar a bit darker in the center
How is it that his burned eye looks MORE open? Also that should really have been "idiots" plural...
