Tuomas is really curious kind of man.He tells us true about everything but do it in this way that you aren't sure sometimes what he meant exactly. If you searching for anything about him the best thing you can do is to listen to his music and read carefully his lyrics-there is probably everything what you want to know.
I truly like him and respect his work beacuse he is always himself no matter what...a bit strange guy as we all!:)

Tuomassssss!!!!! This is why I love his music and his poetry and his words - there are just so many ways to interpret it and it's soooooooo straight from the heart that it's just beautiful. He is everything I want to be - the image of humanity, in some ways. Very amazing man. Thank you so much for uploading this interview!

2:53 ... that is a painful question for him. Because, in my opinion, he loves her.

he may have lusted for her but not love her...love would drive him to respect her concerns and wishes, look out for her vocal and overall health, not run her like a performing horse, not force her to endure a smoke-filled, liquored up tour bus, not abandon her after an onstage attack, not be jealous of a man she loved and who wanted her wishes to be handled with care

oh, you could no longer control a woman, became intensely jealous of her husband, scheduled concerts and sold tickets behind her back, resented her having decent hotel and travel accommodations, being able to guard against lack of sleep, security, privacy, suffering from constant allergies. deprived her of any social life, ran her ragged on stage, abandoned her after she was attacked onstage during a concert, ignored her attempts at contact, encourage her to sing her last concert with a fever and a throat infection and then posted a trashy letter calling her a greedy aloof diva, for which the fans, industry and critics scolded you persistently?...because he did all that to Tarja

So I have this thing that fans get where they think they're also amidst all the drama.. but for me as I see it, I was, in a way. Nightwish was my 2nd favourite band and I remember listening to them as a teen and thinking to myself "They are the most unique of sounds... Tuomas' lyrics, Tarja's voice and the boys' music. That combination is musical perfection." And then she was gone and I just couldn't hammer it into my head. I'm still sore about it. They are people, people are so very fucking complicated but I'm a fan and I cannot fucking describe to you how much I...
.. Hah, that's odd. I was gonna type "miss them" but I don't. The songs are still there for me to go back to any time... So I just. Heh, I suppose all I am in the end is still that angry teenager who wants her perfect combination back together, just for her. Stupid, isn't it?
But the thing is, when I watched "ataque de tarja" here on RUclips, I could see within a few seconds something I can never remove. Because it's not a rumour. It's what's right there. And she was attacked on stage but those 4 men did nothing but keep playing. Marcelo was the one to intervene. That is the one thing I would want to know what he feels about. Just that. Why didn't you? Any of you?

I Googled the attack you said and it was shameful for the band members to continue playing and not help her.

no honor or decency , indeed...for someone who says it was so emotional, he never once expressed himself to Tarja other than to trash her again and again

Quando algum fã maluco ataca algum membro de uma banda são os segurança que entram em ação e não os membros da banda , isso vale para qualquer banda.

Upon reading their biography Once Upon A Nightwish (I think that's the name), I honestly think that it wasn't that they didn't care for her at all, but they kinda saw her as "one of the guys". They were a metal band touring, drinking and partying pretty hardcore but Tarja was, like she said herself, a country girl who just happened to be touring with a metal band. For them the guy jumping onstage was probably funny or not that serious, because they were somewhat numb to the fact that Tarja despite being used to their antics, was still a woman being jumped by a guy bigger than her. And Marcelo being and outsider could obviously perceive the whole thing in a different way (like most of us).

@ncis12013 -_- He's refferring to the emotion he felt while dealing with Tarja. Not that he feels as Christ.

    say is Tuomas a christian?
I mean many lyrics are at least inspired by christianity so i was curious but couldn't find an answer XD

    • @jamesmartin2740

I believe he identifies as secular now, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is still is a concept of God in his life.
