Honestly the problem with anime is that the popular ones can get a bit too generic and kinda overrated especially for people new to watching them. If you watched anime when you were younger then there's a higher likelihood you'll like it later in your life but if you're older and literally never watched any anime ever barring ones aired a few times on cable tv, then it's gonna be a tough hurdle to get over stuff unique to anime apart notably its japanese culture. However though stories that anime studios have come up with are numerous and could give the movie industry a run for its money if you're diligent enough to look for what you want. It helps having a non-biased friend to help you ease into the genre too.
The Shonen genre isnt necessarily the best place to find anime that has hollywood level writing i mean it's meant for a younger audience tbf. And yeah you're right if you look for it there are def hundreds upon thousands of good anime.
I also feel like it has to do with either the executives canceling the series really early on and taking waaaaay too long to give it a second or third season and end up forgetting it all together leaving it to fall into obscurity. Or it's the writers that hurt the show by not giving it the proper time and care that goes into the show itself like messing something up in the middle of a arc or committing character assassination. Or also milking a franchise until it's dry the most famous example I can think of is dbz where originally it was supposed to end near the cell saga with Gohan becoming the near hero of earth but then years later decided to bring the series back by rebooting it with the god awful dragon ball super and we all know how that turned out.. 🙄
honestly pretty fair opinion we usually just try ignore it because we it’s not from the western culture so we can’t really do anything about it so it’s either endure it or don’t watch and for a lot of shows i usually just push through it other than Fire Force
Most series share similar tropes with wach other but thats only because they are apart of same genre. You can try to boil down media to where its similarities are identifiable with other shows but that would be disingenuous as each show has its own plot, story, characters, and themes. Also I hope you do know they are more than just battle shonen out there and even in the genre they are still well written shows including the ones you mentioned in this video. You're only pointing out the negatives wile discarding what make these shows appealing to a wide audience.
My man you are severely underrated. I haven’t seen any recent videos addressing anime and showing how generic most shows are, as well as the s**ualisation.
@guy above me Like the billionth isekai, or i am the strongest but (insert gimmick) with literally the same kirito clone mc, stuff like that y'know, and he didnt say all, he said most.
I love naruto but i can say the same argument about midoriya with naruto. Just like midoriya who got a 100 dollars starter pack, naruto also have it. Bro got the blood of the 4th hokage and the nine tails in him. Also i forgot which arc but there was a moment that mentioned naruto being in like some sort of prophecy like a person that will save the world or something. Bro was destined for that life despite the early hardship he went through as a kid. Kid naruto is a true story of an underdog climbing his way up. But as the story kept on going i can't help but feels like bro just got lucky. Rock lee is the real underdog here
Lol this guy hates JP voicing in anime and anyway most Japanese VA had scandals or health problems but they will be forgotten later while EN VA's will had their scandals or past behaviour will be remembered by many and it will haunt them permanently
i hope you know theres more than fighting shonin

5 Title Changes???? You must have a issue with making content or finding a audience
If u want a good anime watch cowboy bebop if you want a good shounen anime watch yuyu hakusho if you wanna watch anything else too bad
What do you mean "too bad"?
@@aeea3306 there are no other good animes
@@jknifgijdfui i can suggest you some that might change your mind
Well, Beyblade Metal series is the only anime I watch and it's normal, I don't see anything wrong with it, unless you say otherwise..
