This show is so underrated. It needs to have the same level of respect and appreciation that Breaking Bad gets. It's so incredibly brilliant. One of my all time favourite shows. Extremely well made and thought provoking.
Everyone should watch this show. Its such a beautiful and hilarious show. It teaches you that while death is inevitable, you should never stop living your life
This show was a life changer for me, it helped me grieve and cope with the death of my childhood best friend and reignited my interest in becoming a mortician to help others. For sure the most beautiful and emotional ending to any show I’ve ever watched as well. I think David Fisher is one of the best written characters of all time and Michael C. Hall’s incredible performance makes him feel like such a real person.
I have had this on my watch list since it came out! What you said is how I feel abt The Leftovers! The day after the finale, EVERYONE said Nora was telling the truth & I know she wasn't!
This show had the best end of series finale ever! Emotional and thought provoking. Sia’s Breathe Me along with the chronologies was powerful! Did I cry or what ?!!!
Massively underrated show, Even though this show was popular when it aired it's hardly known these days. I started watching because of Michael C Hall (Dexter). No bad seasons, well written, amazing cast, beautiful ending. One of the best tv shows ever made. Highly recommended.
Just finished watching this show for the first time last night. This is by far the best show I’ve ever seen! I wasn’t quite sure during the first few episodes, but I’m so glad I hung in there. This show is excellent! ❤🖤💙💜Best ending of any show I’ve ever watched and the series length is perfect.
I share that death is the center theme of Six Feet Under, but I can't avoid to say how this show touches other big concepts such as the mental health, the brotherhood or family disfunctions. And how all the problems related to those thing inevitable just fade away in the end. I think we all can feel related to those concepts of life, a brother/sister, a beloved person with a mental disease, or problems in our families. And all of that is what makes Six Feet Under dig into our souls so very much
The show isn't just to show it got me through my parents. Which occurred right after it aired within one year of each other. Now it's there again for me for the love of my life that I've known for ten years who's dying right now. It's more than a show
i'm so sorry to hear about your love who is dying, and your parents you lost. i feel the same way about this show. it impacted my life in ways i never thought a television show could.
Just finished it, my new favorite show ever!! It’s truly a masterpiece. For me, the fact I related to each one of the main characters at some point (sooner or later) was just disturbing yet thrilling 🤯
This show broke my heart in a million pieces and continues to do so each time I restart the series. One of the few shows I can completely relate to, all while I struggle to accept Death as a part of life 😭💔 Life is so precious and fragile.. Live every day as though it were your last because you never know when your last day will be

I can’t believe I just finished this show in 2024❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you so much to the creator, Alan Ball and everyone apart of this show. It’s one of a kind. It’s a masterpiece. It’s life and death. It’ll live on long after we are gone. Thank you Six Feet Under.
Best. Show. Ever. I wish they would teach it in High School. No piece of literature, or media has ever come close to teaching me so much about life and death, mindfulness, and being present with others. All we have is the day in front of us. Highly recommend anyone on the fence about watching this show to go for it!
I finished on Netflix recently and it's so amazing, I did have to stop watching for bit because I was crying so much because the last season made me think of my older brother who passed away last year with some the same issues Nate had.😭😭
@@coolandgood1010 It's not about whether or not it's relatable. The desire to watch programs about death and funerals while you're still grieving seems a bit masochistic. Maybe you're one of those people who also photograph the dead and record the entire funeral. Might want to look into those services next time around. That'd be extra lovely to watch whenever you're feeling down.
I need to actually watch this show. I started watching it years ago as a tween because Dexters actor is in it. But now as an adult I really need to sit down and watch it.
The clip cuts off the line from Ruth to Brenda. The first part is “I know he loved you as best he could.” The second part, however, is “and I know it wasn’t enough.” What’s really funny is that Ruth was with a woman by the finale and I thought at the time “Lady, you only think you’ve felt disappointment before.”
@@LeoCekaAll the other aspects are in the right place, directing, acting, etc... I just felt that the makeup in the last ten minutes was not on the same level. But the investment put onto these characters is payed off very satisfyingly at the end, and that raw emotion... I felt that.
@@jennifervolar8021 I see what you're saying and that's true for most shows and aspects like visual and special effects. However, both good stage makeup and great makeup artists are not something that just appeared in the last 20 years. As emotional as it was, I had to chuckle at the fact that it looks like Billy literally voted Brenda to death.
