Quando avevo anche io questo Ford qualche anno fa, ho risolto cambiando solo 8 oring da solo 20 minuti 01,00 e. Di spesa lavoro semplicissimo non conviene buttare soldi per nulla ma l'aveva insegnato un po pista professionista del settore
Alright mate your smiley sounds lovely and looks so clean iv just spent 8 days welding the inner outer arch wings new bumber I to my twin wheel camper conversation. Is there any way of making it faster it screams at 60 70 on the motorway, can you change the gearing or something like that
Sorry for the late reply, I pretty much cut back to the main chassie rails on the cab and re paneled all the way out on both sides cutting out all the rot. The engine runs like a dream, not done much engine work just general service and I had the diesel pump rebuilt and the pump was set up on a bench dyno to get the most out of it. The 2.5 di engine was never built for speed as it was built to last and that is what it has done, they have all ways screamed at 60 to 70 mph and wearing a set of ear plugs helps a lot on long journeys, all so lots of sound deading on the front bulkhead.
@@dale205mills thanks mate I have done a good bit of sound proving since carpet and stereo so she not sounding as bad now. I've just driven from Watford to sky in her she's loving it as slow as ever. My mechanic recons I should put a 2012ish transit engine in her I have spent so much time on my camper conversation I don't want to lose her but I will keep this engine till it dise if that ever happens witch I doubt lol

Might be wrong lol but are vans only allowed to do 60 Ur did it change lol
Lucky enough the police think they have got a faulty speed camera when they catch a old mk5 transit doing more then 60 mph
