It definitely gets easier with practice! We don't have front-lacing corsets in our range of designs, but you can always send an email to boutique@darkgarden.com to inquire about customized designs.
It's so much easier than it looks! I just made my first corset (for fashion, not very fancy and I'm not doing it nearly tight enough, so not a proper corset like this but it works!) And I was scared to lace it, but it's so easy
yea definitely do it in front of a mirror c: it took like 15 minutes my first time and I was super confused but it's muscle memory a couple years later!
The answer is a bit more complicated than that. To find your corset size, measure your natural waist (below your ribs, above your hips at your most compressible point) and then subtract 4"-6" to find your corset size. For example, my waist measures 30" so I would be a size 26" corset.
What if your corset doesn’t come with a back panel and is it harder for a plus size person to get into a corset by themselves my first one is coming in the mail from a website and no one knows the answers to my questions lol
Hi there, sorry for the delayed response! It's not necessarily harder for a plus sized person to get into a corset solo, but it does depend a bit on your body shape - for some people with bigger busts it's harder to put on an overbust corset by themselves, but an underbust one might be fine, for example. Corsets by Dark Garden always come with back panels, though they aren't always laced onto the corset.
Thank you!!!
😞 there goes my dream, I guess. 😞 Maybe it's easier than it looks, and with practice... But aren't there any front-lacing ones? 😞

I use a mirror to make sure the panels are parallel and it's much easier to tie long laces. Wrap it around to the front of your waist.

My question is : it’s safe for practicing thigh lacing ? It’s for this ?
How do you lace it so it pulls from the middle?
Looks like reverse bunny ears
Hi do i have to size 🆙 or down if i will buy a corset?

Do you need a middle part? Mine does not have it
its called a modesty panel so I believe it only sheilds your back wrinkles and clothing wrinkles from the outer world :3 not structural
Are they suitable for tight lacing?
Yes, we make many corsets worn by tight lacers!
Sure, and if your rotator cuffs don't work?
If this is in regards to tightening the laces, we recommend the doorknob trick! ruclips.net/video/hs_EnHstfWI/видео.html

I always thought that those corset things when under the dress not over it goes to show you what a guy knows.
Historically they went under the dress, although it was not the layer closest to the skin. Nowadays it varies.
scouttyra is right! Some people like to show theirs off over their clothes, others like to wear theirs as foundation garments to shape underneath.
