I once had a live performance on CD of this song, and it had a freakin SCREECHIN screamin violin ....it was loud...and it was the BEST of all performances of this song. I have never found it again, but it must have come from this tour. OMG on the CD the violin is RIPPIN and sounds perfect for this song
Lou DIAMOND Reed one of the greatest songwriters to grace this planet, so many masterpieces and this song will always be one of my favourites.
This might possibly be the greatest song ever written
YES!!! Have You Ever Listened to This (The original) & Sister Morphine (Stones) Back To Back. It's FANTASTIC!!

I’d like to ask Lou why he never performed his songs as recorded on the album.
Lou was really the man

Ate Sempre Lou
Mi yonki neoyorquino,,te hecho de menos 😢😢😢😢
yeah, Lou Reed was the man.
I'm sure the drummer could do Mo's parts, but it's possible he didn't want to f**k with greatness or Lou wanted a change.
Musically this Is the Best live version of ,,Heroin"
Can't compare to the last reunion of the VU version of this song. No one can compare to Tucker on drums and Cale . No one.
is it possible Lou fell off the wagon? he appears to be hi as a giraffes as here... I love it
What do ya think about when your playing, idk, my fish tank
How you doing Andy ?
Im disappointed. Listen to Rock and Roll Animal from 75/76 that is Lou Reed.
That's some really stiff drumming. The violinist shredded it, but the drummer, not so much.

Right
Poor rendition, does not do justice to a great song as it was performed in the 1970's. LR sounds tired, a shell of what he once was.
