We hung our rugs out doors on the washing line. Dried and fresh in no time. As for drying carpets we had all windows open and doors for fresh air flow. We also put a dash of Zoflora inside and it smelt amazing. I wish I could show you guys my b4 and after pics of my carpet in my bedroom my gosh. The water was coffee coloured with no milk. The tank of water doesn't last long, numerous trips changing the water but I cannot moan when the carpets are looking so fresh. Had a stain that annoyed the hell out of me gone. I'd say 4 stars 🌟 I'd give 5 stars if the suction was a little stronger. Machine very heavy too but just managed to carry up stairs etc...
Top Tip for the ink stains: *Isopropyl alcohol^* - get 99% if you can. Use a cotton bud dipped in it to remove as a pre-treatment, _then_ clean with your machine. Might still work even now if you still have it, or hopefully useful info for anyone else with ink stains. ^known as _rubbing alcohol_ in the States.
haha trust me you are going to have a whale of a time!! I'm really glad you enjoyed my video, thanks for your kind words! Let me know how you get on :D x
they are amazing my sister brought her one around today and we was that shocked how good they are we just brought the £300 one with a free streamer 110% would get one if your looking into a cleaner
vax is good for doing the jobs but its always best to use more water for deeper clean but that will leave things damp especially if carpet has old underlay, best to suck up slowly and spread some kitchen towel to walk on after, takes a good day to do 1 room properly, and instead of using carpet cleaner brands in the tank use what you use in the washing machine like bold or ariel etc.
Great overview! How long did you find it took the carpet and upholstery to dry? It looks like the streaks/lines from the cleaner and the attachments would disappear once dry. Vax claim an hour, but would be interested to hear a real life experience. I'm considering picking one up as our (cream) carpets are around 10 years old and could do with a serious clean!
Hi! Thanks for watching.. I would say it definitely took longer than an hour to dry! So if doing carpet I'd recommend that you only do one room at a time so you don't have to walk on the wet carpet. The streaks/lines do disappear once dry and the sofas + rugs came up looking brand-new! Hope yours goes just as well! 😃 I'm sure they will look amazing!!
You can never beat steam, or warm water. Is this warm water too? Steam cleaning is impressive. However, the prices exceeds it massively, but they are used more for professional methods.
Really enjoyed this. Thank you :) If you want to get ink out, we used plain old milk - worked a treat. However not sure if the ink has been there for a while. But it's worth a try!
Hi! Depends on what you are cleaning and how warm it is where you live. ☺️ The rugs dried quite quickly and the sofas a bit longer. We live in the UK where it is pretty cold most of the time. So if it's not warm where you are I'd definitely recommend having the heating on or it may take a while 😅 hope that helps. It says "dries in 1h, and I'd say that was the case only for the rugs".
I have a Vax and need to get into using it regularly, but are they good for the edges of carpets where it gets a bit dusty and grey? Seems impossible with a regular vacuum (I have a Shark). Also, what are the 'splodges' on the couch around just after 4mins, or is that the blue marks you mention later? Thanks.
@@zoedark7101 oooh nice!! Love a second hand bargain! It's Gona feel so nice and clean after. I'm sooo glad I did the sofa, I just can't get off them now 😜 Saying that my boyfriend literally spilled a whole bowl of beans on the sofa the other day and I nearly cried 😂😂 Let me know how you get on! X
Haha it was so gross. I do show it for the sofa at one point I think. But not to worry. Il be making another video in Spring where I do my car, so I will be sure to show you as much gross water as poss 😉 and I'm sure there will be LOADS! 😂
@@evie_uk Hi can I ask have you cleaned the area left once the roller brushes have been removed so you can rinse the brushes, I’ve just used mine for the first time and everything is clean now but I can’t leave the area left after the roller brushes have been removed, also how do you get the solution area clean as you can’t get to it to clean it out just flushing it isn’t helping
@@evie_uk hiya I think you have misunderstood, hope this helps, once you lay the machine on its back exposing the brushes you undo a few screws to remove the brushes once you have the brushes in your hand you are left with the rubber belt and the plastic locator that the brushes sit in. Now my carpets are all clean I’ve rinsed everything I can but I’m finding I cannot remove the clear plastic that the brushes sit in to clean it and I can’t put it away as it is so now it’s sitting on my kitchen floor belly up looking brushless

That is great, I have been considering the one with the free steamer. What would you need the steamer for though?

Thinking about it, the rugs did dry faster than the sofas, so depending on how warm your house is it may not take as long as mine did 😃

Hey! Thanks for watching!
Yeah the 'spoldges' are ink that's been there for over 10 years 😅👍 miracle that any of it came out to be honest haha!
@@evie_uk Do you know about the edges of carpet I mentioned, please?
@@DVDfeverGames ah sorry! Yeah they are! 😃👍
Use a sharpie on the blue stains. Blend it in.
How easy is it to store? Can you tale it apart?
Yeah it actually doesn't take up as much room as I thought it would. Just a little more than the hoover, but it does come apart ☺️👍
@@evie_uk thanks I have carpet upstairs and a small cheap rug and not sure if I should buy this or a small rapid cleaner
Mine is an older model, but I find the upholstery tool a bit useless, always leaves stains of some sort.
I can highly recommend these - I have two of them :-)
Thanks for watching!! Aren't they great?! I can't wait for the weather to get better here in the UK so I can use it on my car 😅🙈
Ever tried this machine on car seats?
Omg what a great idea!! Definitely going to do that!! 👌 I dread to think how gross the dirty water will be when I do the car 😂😅
Good luck my broke after using it 6 times.Check out other reviews of this machine.
This is best mashin

Zero suction, real waste of money
