Thank you to Guinness for the time they spent with me shooting video and pictures; I truly appreciate the recognition and the ability to share my collection The collection shown in this video is about 80% of my collection; I had just finished painting and putting up the lighting and the electrical inspector had just approved the room when Guinness sent me an email indicating they would be like to see the collection in two weeks. So what you see is two weeks of effort in putting up shelving and unpacking all the items to share. I still had about 40 boxes of items I didn't have time to put out. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you.
Eric Jaskolka I applaud you Mr. Jaskolka. You kept up doing your passing, and in the end it paid off. I’ve been doing my own collection as well of Batman. (No disrespect Mr. Eric) And I can only wish my collection will be as memorable and beautiful as yours.
Eric Jaskolka I have a bunch of X-men collectibles you might be interested in they are all new in box from 60s and 70s I have a lot let me know thanks 2107747814
Eric Jaskolka i collect (try) juggernauts . I love the character. Congratulations what an amazing collection. Many of us wish for something like that. Thanks for share it .
From the Director of the X-Men Animated Series: Dude, I'm totally impressed!! I've been an X-Men fan since the 60s, since issue one and that was an amazing video.
Magneto was originally Sinti-which, is a primary sub-group of Germanic Romani people in countries like Austria, Germany, France and Belgium. His Romani identity was firmly established well by the late 80's/early '90s... Like, did his teacher and friend just over look Uncanny X-Men #199? And please, don't' call us "Gypsies", it's a highly offensive racial misnomer that makes us sound like a life-style or like hippies or Irish & Scottish Travellers, instead of an actually non-White ethnic group that has been discriminated against for over 1,000 years in Europe. (Seriously, the word is like "Injun".) Our names Roma and Romani are believed to be around 1,500 years old. I'm writing all of this because I'm 100% Roma-I was born in Hungary but adopted by White Americans and I grew-up in Westchester, so the X-Men mean a lot to me! So yeah, the X-Men didn't have anything to do with the Jewish Holocaust (as opposed to The Porjoamos or "Romani Holocaust" that saw t he death of over 2,000,00 Roma and Sinti), until the first film and longer before then, their first real, openly Jewish character was actually Kitty Pryde, not Magneto. The original Stan Lee/Jack Kirby books were largely about Civil Rights, as that was more relevant at the time and Marvel wasn't supposed to acknowledge religion, like at all, which is why Kirby never publicly revealed Ben Grimm's Ashkenazi heritage. It was something that other writers did to honor him after his death and to make The Thing more three-dimensional. (Also, unfortunately, Stan didn't care much about being Jewish himself, so even if they could reference Judaism, I don't think Stan would have allowed it.) Anyway, kudos to Eric on his amazing collection.
Actually, he’s got it wrong. Stan lee repeatedly stated that the xmen story is based on the black struggle of America. Xavier and magneto are representations of Martin Luther king and Malcom X.
Zarik Hussain thanks. Favorite movie is First Class. I had just finished lighting the room when Guinness emailed me and had 2 weeks to unpack and set all of it up including the shelving . At the time I had about 80% in the room. Finished after they left. I had several hundred miniature items I didn't have time to put out. You can view updated pics on that Facebook page
Love love love love this man's collection, want to spent a week in this man's house. One thing a notice though he hasn't got many of the statues you can get
Eric Jaskolka Look at his collection. Most girls would see that, and walk away. "Middle age guy that still plays with toys." But has a entire room of them.
Interesting. When I met my wife in my early 20's, while I had very small collection at the time, I was honest and said this was a package deal - my dog, myself, and my passion. She knew what she was getting into. The entire family is into super heroes and looks for items for me. So in a way it is a family collection now. I've offered to sell it many times if my wife needed and she would have none of that. As long as it makes me happy, it makes her happy.
Actually not surprising. I'm 28 and I know plenty of women who are into men with these types of hobbies. I collect Marvel, DC, Tekken, Street Fighter and Gundam items and I have a gf. Plus he's not playing with them, they are collectibles, not toys. Women like guys who are comfortable with who they are. I'm assuming you are around shallow gold diggers. No one wants those type of women. You can have them.
0:35 *ties to Judaism and the holocaust* Me: *Here we go again...* 0:43 *stating that it was everybody different not just one specific people...* Me: *This guy is awesome.....*
Dear Mr. Jaskolka, Can you tell me anything about that Hornby X-men MOC item in the case? It looks really interesting and i cannot find anything about it online. My father collected Hornby trains and I think that items looks amazing in the case. Awesome collection!
Actually I have 8500+ X-Men comics but they didn't want to show the white comic boxes. Impressive run for you to have them all. I have 7, 16, 21-544; plus all the other X-titles, variant covers, etc.
If you like the character then it is valuable to you. If you are asking about monetary value, I believe about the only real valuable Iceman action figure is the Secret Wars Iceman from 1984 which was released in Europe. There are several statues of Iceman and generally all statues are pricey but Bowen Designs has some full size statues that are exclusives - the clear ones - those generally go for more.
Eric Jaskolka nice man! Yea I appreciate your love for X-men. I like the X-men as well! Icemans my favorite mutant by far. In your collection which action figure is most valuable?
Hmm, tough question. I have all of them and since there isn't an action figure toy guide anymore, I would say you have to look on eBay for any given figure and see what they sell for. I assume the first few series of Marvel Legends are more than even the old ToyBiz figures. Iceman has been getting lots of attention in the comics, so maybe they will make more toys of him.
My Man! This is a great video. I know they pushed you into that Wolverine suit. They wanted me to wear a Batsuit, but I pointed out they didn't make them in my size.
Eric Jaskolka Question, do you have any heroclix miniatures of X- Men?
Yes I have all the X-Men ones. I didn't have time to put them out as I only had 2 wks to set up the room. But they are all out now.
Detodo Unpoco thank you. This is Guinness video they shot. I can do my own soon. I'm currently remodeling the room.

Mark H thank you
Wow, impressive. I wonder how much money he has invested in the collection?
theexmann a lot invested but worth it
Most collectors like this are really great with money and has probably put into this what we spend casually on non-essentials.
Amazing high 5 , from our late Stan Lee would state ‘Excelsior’ 🤩
I was fortunate enough to meet him and show him we are both in the record book.
Nice video. I love x men
Thank you
He joined to positive crazy people (Teleexpress polish magazine) :D
I have all the X-Men movies, does that count? Lol!
It is a good start!
Sweet collection, but that has to be the worst Wolverine costume I've ever seen. But that Sentinel and Apocalypse BAF is 2 of my Grails
LOL yea I can't fill out a one size fits all costume
Where did he get that custom "Arcade" Villian figure? Never seen a Figure of him before.
I bought it years ago on ebay
Damn, I need to up my X-Men collecting game
Go for it!
Don’t say you haven’t put that custom on bc I would sleep on it go to work on it lol

There are different views on the story understand that
@@Jdotstarrr not speaking on different views, I’m speaking on the ACTUAL view, you know, from the main figure head that was Stan Lee.
He doesn't have any of the X-men Pop Vinyls. X-men pop vinyls are really cheap and easy to find. useful to boost his amount of items
Hello - have all the Pop Vinyls. When Guinness was at my house I had just moved and didn't have time to put everything out.
Zarik you can see the Pops on my Facebook page. I just posted a pic for you. facebook.com/XmenCollection/
Eric Jaskolka Wow that's amazing. I have a couple of X-men pop vinyls and What is your favourite X-men Movie

I think the most surprising thing in this video was when be said he had a wife, and kids!
Why is that surprising?
Eric Jaskolka Look at his collection. Most girls would see that, and walk away. "Middle age guy that still plays with toys." But has a entire room of them.

X men awesome
Xmen was based more on the civil rights tho. The inspiration for magneto was based off malcolm x and professor x was more martin luther king

And not one damn comic book. Real fan right there. Meanwhile I only have the complete run fro 1-544. Nuff said!
