120 fps is not much sustainable in gaming cos it fluctuates and produces lot fo heating. So trust automatically your fps will drop to 90 or even below. Unless you have a cooling device you'll face lag.
No it's seems to work perfectly on my S24 ultra even though it's not a gaming device. Yes the temperature does go up if you play 3-4hours but still it's pretty consistent with the FPS. Iam surprised. It consistently give 105-120fps

Besides diff chips like dimensity 8100, 8200, 9300 ans snap 8 gen 3 has different efficiency. This is where cost play important role.
