I really appreciate the effort and quality you put into each video, especially doing it all by yourself. Keep improving, and may you be blessed. It's a valuable opportunity for Cambodians to uncover hidden stories, learn from them, and make a positive impact in our community either directly or indirectly. Good luck on your next journey!
That sounds like such an enriching experience! The Bunong people’s lifestyle and traditions are fascinating. How was the meal Bong? 🤤 Did you get to learn more about their weaving or farming techniques? I’d love to hear more about your visit!

Do most Bunong people speak Khmer as a first language now? Meaning they mostly speak Khmer even in their household? And are all public schools still half days instead of full day?
@ that’s a shame that the government still hasn’t made changes to schooling. They need to prioritize schooling, make it a full day and provide free breakfast and lunch for kids. They need to develop AI learning programs to help fill the gap in qualified teachers. This way Cambodia doesn’t have to allow foreigners to come and teach, especially the English language. Most of them aren’t qualified anyway. But these people in government only care about money in their pockets. They want Cambodia to be heavily dependent on tourism, make it a country where the people possess little to no skill so they can serve foreigners. It’s disgusting. During the French colonial era, Khmer people were said to be resistive to the French. Khmer people back then had more pride, solidarity and worked to preserve Khmer culture instead of submitting to foreigners. Since the early 1980’s it’s the opposite. Everything is for sale to foreigners with money: land, people and even citizenship.
