I’m seriously thinking about doing that for my 2016 Electra Glide Ultra cause I had an issue just the other day where the tank burped and gas ran down under the stock dash and sides of the tank and down under the seat!!! I’ve also had difficulties with getting the fuel pump nozzle into my tank with that “geezer” glide dash, but my dash has a nice skull and cross bones design on it which I like! So yeah, I’m torn on doing this!
Looks great. I too have a 20 Limited (RG) and already gutted the CB component as I have a detach tour pak. To me, the stock console on the RG, SG kills the look of the bike. This really appears to make a difference.
Mine leaks vapors and leaves fuel residue around cap. Have tried double flat seals and single flat and the donut one. That made it better but still leaks. There is a slight gap between console and filler neck and seal only seals cap to console so there is a gap for fuel to escape.
it looks good. have you seen the Advan ad on youtube? i have seen it twice now. once on Pro monkey channel and while ago on Shadetree. it is nice getting a meaningful ad once in a while lol. good vid

I haven't had any issues with mine leaking or anything. I'll have to take a look at mine and see what I might have done differently than u
You said it came with the rubber strip? The ads I see I don’t see it on there.
Mine came with it. U can also use your stock ones.
