19thewanderer I worked with many of them in Poland for 3 months , great highly educated people, good manners and work ethic and their women are beautiful and highly educated. Poland is beautiful , great mountains areas, amazing old cities, UNESCO sites. I will be back to Poland soon to meet more Polish people and I will be back to Scotland too Scots are not racist.

Mieszkam w UK już 10 lat i wiem doskonale że u Brytyjczyków to tylko fasada. Tak samo jak pytanie się na ulicy zupełnie obcych osób "How are you". Brytyjczycy mają tą wspólną cechę z Polakami, są dwulicowi w większości! I nie mówię tego złośliwie tylko znam to z własnego doświadczenia.

It s all a big lie like everything else in England. Scotland is different, lovely and genuine people there. Unfortunately I have lived in England for the past 48 years and don t remember any situation when I was welcome. My sons were born and brought up in England and yet, they have been referred to as bloody foreigners on many occasion. A few years ago our neighbours gave us hell with their behaviour towards us. Their son has tried to ran me over on his motorbike and yet, police did nothing and even thought that it was funny. All that was left for us is to leave Britain.
The truth is people don't mind immigrants from the E U. It's all the others who will never ever integrate, assimilate or identify with this country or its culture that worry us. But we can't talk about that. So we reduce the numbers of those we don't mind coming here because we can't or won't reduce the numbers of those we don't want.
I wonder if the average brit realises how much we owe the Poles? If it was not them we would now speak German.. and currently - billions of pounds being generated by the Polish worker in the UK in those few years .. our govt. know it perfectly well , that s why they are allowed to be and work here. Poland is one of the greatest nations in Europe either you like it or not .

Americans are peaches, they look good, pretty and rich, and you get to know them easily, but there is something below the colorful tasty surface you can't ever crack, they won't truly ever let you in. My experience with Poles is that they are coconuts. Sometimes abrasive, on first contact, hard, but when you crack the surface, break through their exterior, you will find only refreshing goodness; the best, most loyal friends. I'm an Australian. We are bananas. Not as good-looking as Americans, but pretty easy to open, and inside, it's all good for you. NB: No hate, please, I was trying to be funny.
Walking through Edinburgh recently I noticed that many of the Polish shops that were in town have since closed down, and it makes me feel ashamed, honestly. This video has allowed me to restore a bit of pride in my hometown.

My experience with Poles is that they are coconuts.
Sometimes abrasive, on first contact, hard, but when you crack the surface, break through their exterior, you will find only refreshing goodness; the best, most loyal friends.

Walking through Edinburgh recently I noticed that many of the Polish shops that were in town have since closed down, and it makes me feel ashamed, honestly. This video has allowed me to restore a bit of pride in my hometown.
