Hi. Do I go into first gear when approaching a stop sign and I’m about to stop?

Yes you can. The main thing is that you stop fully and make sure you go into 1st before trying to move again.

Yes I recommend so and you have to come to a complete halt at a stop sign.

This happens to me several times, when I want to shift into 2nd gear I shift into 4th, any tips please!

When shifting from 1st to 2nd, turn your palm towards 2nd and bring the gear down with slight pressure to the left. When shifting from 3rd to 2nd, you can use the open palm technique zondo just explained: bring gear down to neutral then turn palm towards 2nd gear and shift down while applying a bit of pressure to the left.
