Once again I have learnt something. You cause people to slow up, well you do me. Lens have a personality so to speak is what have picked up from you. Which in turn opens another door to explore. Had a look in my cabinet and there’s a Minolta 50mm f2. So tomorrow taking it on my walk. Thank you once again
I'm glad I've led you towards vintage lenses - they're technically less perfect than modern lenses, but it's those imperfections that give them their character and look. Modern lenses are great too, but often lack personality. Thanks for watching!

How do you think it resolves? better sharpnes, bokeh and microcontrast? Maybe I end buying the pancolar too :) Thanks again and regards from Spain!!

@@zenography7923 -- Well, I'm scouring eBay, shopgoodwill-dot-com, etsy and bonanza-dot-com looking for examples of both. The "CHINON" labeled one is a lot more common than the "CHINAR" -- so if I end up with both and adapt them to my Lumix G85 then I can do a bokeh shoot-out!! Thanks!

The Pancolar is a top 5 50mm lens for me.

Regarding the Chinar 50mm f1.9 -- is the "Chinon" 50mm f1.9 comparable? Or actually a different lens?

I'm not keen on the Summitar's bokeh. But it has the name that people have heard of. Like Rolex in watches. For that, you have to pay.
There's probably a certain amount of fashion going on, but for many, it's a lovely lens!
