      @@KCN007 There is some really good shi* in Kansas City that has helped me cope with this loss. Also now that I'm about ready to graduate with a bachelor's and minors degree consolidated, I am going to visit Branson Missouri again soon. A very special place, and just like Colorado, incredibly friendly people at a substantial level. Must be the MOUNTAINS! God bless!

    Going here when I was little is like a fever dream looking back. I remember everyone doing the YMCA dance, the wooden rides, big light show. Shit was magical back then

    I remember going here as a kid and honestly this is making me want to cry also I know that isn’t the full video of the show on the rock. That place made me love music.

    I’m 21 years old and only went to celebration city 2 or 3 times before it closed. But memories I have from age 5 of that log flume and those battle bots went from faint to clear because of this video. I really wish I could experience it one more time 😢

    Watching this makes my cry. I basically grew up with this park, driving by it now just brings me to tears. Thankfully there are a few things that were moved to Silver Dollar City

      Michaela B do you remember the rock wall that had the fireworks and the video projection

    • @kaylawesome2
      @kaylawesome2 4 года назад +2

      Stephanie Replogle oh my gosh yes! I can still remember some of the stuff they projected

      So can I like Elvis Presley and the other bands that they played, the Eagle, and the rocket mostly for me but that place made me love music and want to listen to music because that was mostly what that place was to me

      Stephanie Replogle sane! Everything I listen to the cars soundtrack (stupid I know) it reminds me of that place. Same with bluegrass. It reminds me of silver dollar city

    Born and raised in the Branson area, this is very nostalgic and brings back tons of memories. Sure do wish it would’ve been converted into another park, it’s beyond that at this point. Thank you for sharing this!

      Unless someone really overhauls it to bring it back (very unlikely), it's probably going to be razed, and replaced with some other attraction.

    I remember going here as a kid and being so devastated when it closed. It was my favorite of the Herschend parks in Branson. Sucks driving by the site now and seeing how it looks

    Very bittersweet. I used to take my son there every week. He joined the Navy this year. Thanks for sharing!

      Hope all going well with you. From the comments I see the video brings back different memories to different people. Hope life is going well to each and everyone (even in this Covid 19 situation)!

    Hello, I'm making a video about Herschend, the company that used to run Celebration City. Would I be able to use a few short clips from this footage within my own? I'd make sure to credit you at the end of the video as well as link to your video within its description. Thanks - Harry
