Nothing but respect to Ian for stepping in on short notice and fighting one of the best in the world and taking him 5 bloody rounds and giving respect to his opponent and putting a show on for the fans 🔥🇮🇪

They hype up the Caucasian looking Muslims but dismiss the Central Asians or East Asian looking Muslims. If his opponent was not a Palestinian (Belal) or Dagistani (Islam) and Chechen (Khamzat) they would unilaterally support him.

This is very true, I think he had way more to risk looking for a finish against someone as good as Garry. If this was a title fight, or if he didn't just get a canceled title shot, he would of been way more aggressive

Great grappling exchanges too. I was rooting for Shavkat but when Ian almost had that choke in the fifth, I was on my feet screaming, and jumping and genuinely wanted him to get the finish.
People hate Ian because he tries to be McGregor. It does not help when he has legitimate cuck accusations. My honest thought is those two should've continue their path desperately and if they meet that would've been in a title fight. Also fighters of that caliber shouldn't waste their best years going into 5 rounds wars for peanuts, like Khamzat should be defending his belt and making big money instead of depleting his health capital cleaning the division with no belt and no big money.
