So cute and fun. Another great idea Alison! So glad you are feeling better. I hope you're continuing to get better, and that your mom is doing well. God bless you and your family including your furbabies.
I love watching you. You are a great teacher. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. My husband had Covid 19 the whole month of May. He is having really bad side effects with his lungs. When he walks from one room to another he is so winded it’s terrible. He holds a CDL license. They pulled it, he has been out of work since the first part of September and we will find out on November 3 if he will be able to go back to work or if he will be forced to retire. It he is forced to retire he is going to try and get disability,. I was taking care of him while he had Covid 19. I never got sick, and I am still healthy. I will keep you in my prayers for complete healing from the Covid after effects. ❤️ This is a wicked sickness.
Artie, would his doc give him a prescription for some PT? It could strengthen him, and increase his endurance. My prayers are with you both. God bless you.
Allison these beads are awesome, I definitely will be trying this pattern! I just love your imagination, and when I do make them I will give credit where it's due, that would be to you. Thank you for the tutorial.
Even tho this wasn´t my cup of tea, I still appreciate the inspiration and your creations :) and it did make me start thinking outside my comfort zone (that´s why I always drop by, no matter what the project is) 💜 everyone can´t like everything. So, thank you for sharing :) 💜 Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow!! Alison you’ve done it again! I MUST MAKE THESE!! They are super cool, and indeed do look like glass lamp work. I see Fall, Halloween and Christmas themes ahead 😍 Thank you so much!!
This is great. You are so clever. These beads are awesome and so fun. Thank you again for sharing. That is so kind of you. Hope you feel better and get rid of the after effects of Covid. These are adorable.
I think I had Covid back in late November last year into December. I was shaky afterward also. If you have a yoga mat, try doing some movements/poses where you are bearing weight through your arms and hands. (downward dog, child's pose, etc) Weight bearing helps to "wake up" nerves. I'm a retired occupational therapist, with certification for working with people who survived strokes and brain injuries. You don't have to do a lot, or a lot of time in those positions, but rather, do it intermittently through the day/evening. Working with polymer clay is great rehab! I was also thinking that a good translucent clay with alcohol ink coloring it, would look good with your technique. The possibilities are endless!
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox I was really sad to know you'd been through this godawful illness. I not only love your artwork, I think you're a really sweet person. I care. All the best to you.
For glazing, I like to skewer each bead with a toothpick, brush on the glaze, then stick the toothpicks into a large piece of styrofoam for drying. Then, when each bead has dried, pick up the toothpick, and apply a 2nd (etc., etc.,) coat of gloss. If the glaze from one coat has dribbled a little bit, I flip that bead over for its next coat.
These are great Allison. I love the necklace. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent.

Margaret Mathis That’s an excellent process. I do that as well. I couldn’t use toothpicks for these beads as the holes were too large 😊
Hi Alison I really loved the video. I was just wondering if you could use liquid clay if you do not have poly bond?
jill lederer Thank you Jill 💜 Yes, you sure can! 😊
I thought the Arteza clay baked at a higher temp?
I've made spiral beads but instead of rolling snakes I used an extruder.
N Smith I mentioned in the vid that I would normally use an extruder but for these I wasn’t looking for perfect. I wanted a wonky fun look 😊
Alison how are you and your family?
