Hi everyone! :D Welcome to my Honkai Star Rail anime opening! This is a fan made Honkai Star Rail anime opening that I did the music for by writing my own song inspired by the story, and music from the game! I hope Honkai Star Rail, and anime fans enjoy this Honkai Star Rail inspired opening. This is just my final submission for the competition. By the way! For those who don't know, Honkai Star Rail is the latest game from the HoYoverse, or the creators of Genshin Impact! :D

This song is really great, it really fits with the story on the Xianzhou as well! If you do covers, I think your voice would be great on some of the songs from Honkai Impact as well. I would ask about the possibility of a new song for it (like this one or a comment I saw suggesting a genshin one), but they kind of already make songs to go with animations to wrap up each arc in the story.

"clouds and earth will combine when heaven's stars come crashing down" have to be up there as one of my favorite lyrics of all time. seriously, yet another song where its clearly ABOUT something specific while also being generally applicable and that's such a precise art. the amount of praise i have could go on for paragraphs but i'll cut it short here for your sake 😅

The game used heavy metaphors towards clouds and immortality so I just took that as inspiration for the lyric!
@@ItsJustFroggy yeah, i believe it makes them stand much more strongly on their own. like, idk if you did the lyrics for it, but the underverse song goes incredibly hard to me and i dont even know what underverse IS, there's only a few allusions i know i'm missing and the rest is clearly generally applicable. it makes it feel less like this is just a Parody Song like minecraft parodies or whatever (which can still be good don't get me wrong) and more like good ass music that's just Themed. like, i'm not far in star rail and the only clear references to me are the aeon thing and (judging from other comments) the hunt stuff. it feels a lot more like... a tribute, i guess? and it makes this stuff enjoyable on a baseline even if you know nothing, and then adds these neat little tidbits for people who are super fans. i genuinely think it's genius lol. i don't see anyone else doing stuff like this. it helps that i personally love the kind of aesthetic that you went for for this one specifically. like this... ethereal, divine vibe. absolutely adore it. it just feels like you want to create these emotions and these games' theming is the lens you put them through rather than the way you express them, is the best way to put it. and ofc thai's godly deliveries put them up there as well. just so much to love. your and thai's combined efforts create pretty much the only stuff out there to really make me one of those pretentious Talks A Lot About Music Nerd types because wow.

I wrote lyrics for Devil On A Leash (Chainsaw Man), In the Cage (Deltarune1), Break the Cage (Deltarune1jevil), Snow Grave (Deltarune2), The Fall (Attack On Titan, The Hunt (Honkai Star Rail), Superstar (Super Mario Bros), Blue Memories (The Legend of Zelda), Hollow Hello (Hollow Knight), Pizza Time (Pizza Tower), Deadline (Bendy and the Dark Revival), The Rapture (Nikke: Goddess of Victory), and I translated the lyric for the Kickback cover!

I had to double take when I heard his talking voice. It was not what I was expecting. Not in a bad way mind you but in a surprising way. It really shows your vocal range IMO. Still a great song, not playing the game though
