the more artistic approach is surprising and refreshing
5:36 made me tear up...he was thinking about his past and everything that led him up to the point where he (thought) was going to die. I love these characters to pieces. I think One see alot of himself in Skid

@@Egghead012 that isn't what I'm saying. I'm saying the things they went through are similar. They both were kidnapped by Blackwatch, and they both lost someone they love. (Yoyo isn't dead but One is looking for him) and skid lost his mom.

Reason: the story and atmosphere. You can tell both sides have been through tough s**t, regardless of age. They’ve been so much hell QwQ
i feel like it doesnt make as much sense as hyuns like one just snaps out of no where and you kind if have to watch it a lot of times to shape the story in your head but the artistic side of it is really beautiful
@@rhinuu045 mind you, One has PTSD. He tried to keep his composure but the trauma got the better of him, that’s why when he saw Skid trying to catch up to him, it reminded him of his little brother Yoyo as well as all of the suffering he’s been through
It’s the same with Skid’s though his trauma is the opposite case, nonetheless still sad

Those painted frames made me cry
This animation is so beautiful. But I also want to point out how neither characters trauma is treated like a "power up button". The typical thing would be to go all dark mode and start kicking butt, but it's still just two people fighting even when they're both having flashbacks. I love it so much!
a mix of a fighter of a ninja, and a perfect storyline behind it. It truly inspires me.
I cannot express to you how much nostalgia this brings me. I've been an RHG fan for almost all my life, and seeing this again makes me feel like the world is whole and how it once was. Thank you.

probably not, im assuming chronos will duel one of these guys at some point, because of the foreshadowing in the first part of one vs skid (by hyun). Chronos is the guy with red glasses at the end of hyun's one vs skid
I always come back between Hyun's animation and soapy bubbles animation. The story between one and skid is beautiful
Gotta say I'm super glad that this stuff is still kickin... Especially at this super high level of quality
I absolutely love the refferance to the song during the little battle between their trauma/fears at the end when One says "Let's set the night Aglow" it really adds a nice touch to it all.
This song is now my favorite and when I listen to it I can see in my head the beautiful fight seen ❤️

It felt like Skid vs One was like the aftermath of One vs Skid. Idk if that makes sense but like when Skid said he needed parts, it would make sense if you tied it together with Hyun's animation. It also explains why they weren't using the board to fly around everywhere since it exploded in One vs Skid.

I don't know 'bout y'all but it would be cool if Hyun and Soapybubbles made Skid and One into a team for a short while. Like, time manipulation is one of the most broken abilities I know that isn't anti-magic, so I think it would make more sense, One wants any chance of beating Chronos.
