This manga is cool, I'm all caught up, but I'm still pissed that we have no hint of news about a Sakamoto Days anime. Kaiju No. 8 kinda fell off, but Sakamoto Days is one of the best new gens out there in my personal opinion.
Bro I’ve read this manga day one, and that trailer makes the story look way more complicated that it is. “Middle-age pro failed to reach his dream, absorbs monster, becomes monster, saves the world.” It’s really a shounen classic, amazing but the atmosphere is way lighter than that and foremost more straightforward. If you imagine that it ressembles other works by studio IG Production, you’ll be disappointed but you’ll miss out on a good shounen. So I think it’s misleading.
As someone who has been waiting for years for this to come out, I can only hope this gets the animation it deserves.
