Andrew Ryan = Capitalism and no government control in the economy Sophia Lamb = Everyone has a duty to help each other and her daughter will save you Frank Fontaine = Fuck everybody and fuck life just get on top baby!!!! The philosophies of Bioshock
Then there’s Daisy Fitzroy and Zachery Comstock Comstock = Religious cult and extremely xenophobic with Southern American views Fitzroy = Black lives matter
Funny thing is, Fontaine/Atlas's voice actor in BioShock 2 and Burial at Sea is actually Irish. So what we have is an Irishman doing an impression of an American who's impersonating an Irishman.
I just love that last diary. From Fantaine spewing his self-propaganda to the cock of the gun and that sly remark from Atlas. One of my all time favorite diaries in the series!
Actually Greg Baldwin originally recorded both voices. Then both were rerecorded by Karl Hanover. The ones by Karl Hanover are the only ones used in both games. He wasn't credited on game one because he wasn't a member of the actor's union at the time. He is credited on the second game because he joined in the meantime. He's a mate of mine, that's how I know, and believe me its him.
@breastinspector2 Not sure on the specifics but in the level Fontaine Futuristics there's a place that says Fontaine's Office or Office of Fontaine or something like that, once you get in there, there's a boar head somewhere in the office that you use the action button on, it opens a secret entrance where a bunch of safes are at, and the audio diary.
ah. ok. And by the way, I've found 2 more characters for you to collect the diaries of. The newspaper guy who gets you to clear out the Little Sisters in Dionysus Park that you can kill at the end, and the one guy who helped design the Big Daddies who got left in charge of Fontaine Futuristics after he went crazy. Sorry I can't remember the names, though :/
Steinman changed his face, the voice is just him acting, that's why he immediately goes back to his real voice when he betrays you in BioShock 1 and when he gets mad and breaks character in Burial at Sea Episode 2.

The philosophies of Bioshock
I think
“Fuck bitches, get money (ADAM)”
is a little more accurate for Fontaine :)
@@lizardfishbird no. getting money was just his way getting on top
Ironically, Fontaine was more of an objectivist than Ryan ever was. He literally did not give a shit about anyone except himself.
Then there’s Daisy Fitzroy and Zachery Comstock
Comstock = Religious cult and extremely xenophobic with Southern American views
Fitzroy = Black lives matter
Comstock: “God good. Fuck you. Die.”
Fitzroy: “Kill rich people. Fuck you. Die.”
"He's the most dangerous type of hoodlum… the kind with vision.”
I like that.
His first attempt at an Irish accent was hilarious.
+Wintermute01001 "say goodbye to Fontaine, AND HELLOO ATLAS".

@@Void_Dweller7 what a famous quote
I just love that last diary. From Fantaine spewing his self-propaganda to the cock of the gun and that sly remark from Atlas. One of my all time favorite diaries in the series!
I don't know why but I like these types of villains . It's scary to think but there are real people that are like this .
Mafia is full of these guys
You mean psychopaths? Yeah. I think they're allot more scarier when it's a very controlled psychopath.
Yooouuuu guuuyyysss gottaa probleeem wiith hooww sloooow I'mmmm taalkiiiiin'? I'llll fuucking guut theee lottt oof yaaa'. Maaark myy woooords!
no one cares ur dead.
+Jumppy1 you cant kill frank fontaine
Nothing sir
“Marketh though words!!!!”
Guys, the Fontaine voice in this game is basically the Atlas voice actor doing an impression of BS1's Fontaine voice.
You're such a badass in Bioshock 2, even though you're dead
FmaandFriends321 or is he, “like this is the first time I had to dodge a built”
First time playing, I had no idea it was Hanover doing the Fontaine voice instead of Baldwin.
I have a new goddamned face! He's so in love with himself what a bae.
It's Bioshock. If it sounds like a shotgun, it's *probably* a shotgun.
That last one was just insane...
Hah, nice timing uploading this. Just decided to search youtube for the Fontaine Audio Diaries not really expecting anything :P
I love listetning to fontaine he is the most entertaining villian in bioshock besides ryan
...And the prodigal son will be booking his flight... He's so cool the way he has everything planned out
this has to become a movie so my friends can really see how awesome it really is
bro predicted the future
I'm literally laughing so hard at his original voice though

best charters frank fountain,Andrew Ryan, Sinclair, porter, reed whal, mcdonagh, and poblo navorro. like if u agree left out a lot of charcters
I guess he wants to erase Elizabeth. For not foiling his plan
Agreed! I remember playing that diary at least 4 or 5 times the first time I played the game lol.
Wow Frank Fontaine was a total jerk
@breastinspector2

2:38 I love the switch
you know, thinking about it, you might as well get Grace Holloway in there, too. Make it the moral choice characters' audio diaries collection! :D
The laugh at 0:34 is the same laugh as when he reveals himself to you in the first game
yeah, that's it. Collect their diaries :D
@jack360chill gil left various messages from when he was still in his right state of mind.
I've noticed that they screwed things up; in the first of the 3, he says "charity scam," when the text reads "charity angle"
The third one was my favorite xD
@jduran1995 I think it literally is a shotgun because he is preparing for his firefight with Ryan
@Multi16161616161616 Yes. Did you not play the first game?
Say Goodbye to Fontaine,.... and sy hello to Atlas XD
The first one he sounds very drunk lmao
@jduran1995 he's loading a gun to get ready to go and take on the splicers ryan sent maybe?
@jduran1995 I wouldn't know, I didn't make these audio diaries. :(
1:50 talkin about jack?
@johnaclemmins
I listened to that part over and over again. XD
ah. ok. And by the way, I've found 2 more characters for you to collect the diaries of. if you won't dance to that tune, I got others. CODE YELLOW...
Atlas an Fontaine are the same person?
I missed the first Fontaine Diary :(.
Mr director would you kindly Make a bioshock movie?
Danny Boy Ryder oh I'd watch the hell out of that and pray it's good
where was that last one? I played through to the end and never found it.
Fact: There are in fact TWO seperate voice actors, one for Fontaine and one for Atlas.
That's not a fact at all.
IM SO GLAD STEINMAN CHANGED HIS VOICE OMFG ATLAS IS MY HUSBUUUU
Steinman changed his face, the voice is just him acting, that's why he immediately goes back to his real voice when he betrays you in BioShock 1 and when he gets mad and breaks character in Burial at Sea Episode 2.
+hazeman671 yeah I cri I realized that when I replayed bioshock 1 bc I last finished maybe when bioshock 2 came out and so I played again
Can somebody tell me how to find these
@Monmouth3607 so, Greg's recordings were never used in-game?
@jduran1995 I would say that WAS a shotgun.
That's probably because his brain works, reeeaaallly reeeeaaaalllly slow. If you know what I mean.
@jduran1995 it is a shotgun
The guy who voices Fontaine in Bioshock 2 isn't the same guy who voiced Fontaine in the first Bioshock, right?
@johnaclemmins
AGREED!!!
maybe they did that on purpose
@Multi16161616161616 You seem to have failed to actually type anything in that 'reply'. :P
@jduran1995 probly a shotgun
@jduran1995 its a shotgun
Ya it's a shotgun
I Think it is a shotgun
@ipeedinyourpants sure why not
Anyone else thinks Fontaine speaks really really slow? Irritatingly so i think.
Frank Fontaine died in 1960 bioshock 2 1968 like how diary still there
umm maybe he lost it during raptures collapes which began in 1958

@MoozipanCheese
man, I love the last one :D
@jduran1995 I think it literally is a shotgun because he is preparing for his firefight with Ryan
