Your sad machine has a worn out engine, maybe even a worn out hydraulic pump. If the hydraulic pump is strong, a hydraulic movement to the stop will stall the engine. You can do an in-frame rebuild of the engine. My '78 450 track loader could lift enough to tip the tractor over. I built a 10 foot by 4 ft x 2 foot snow bucket. I could fill it with heavy snow and tip the tractor over with the lifting power. That extra geometry for the bucket tilt is to self level the bucket. As you raise the bucket, it stays at the same angle. Otherwise, a full bucket will spill over the back. If you spend a bit of time fixing it up, those 450s are great tractors. I made bolt on mud cleats for the triple grouser pads to get traction on the slick stuff.
have you checked the air cleaner? when they are plugged the engine will start pulling oil into intake and that makes the black exhaust. hope you find the problem, nice videos.
Drain and clean out the fuel tank, fill with clean diesel. check injector leak off pipes, if you have excessive leak off, your injectors need servicing. Black smoke, excess fuel. Check tappet clearences on engine
One of the reasons for the parallel linkage is to get a greater movement on the dump and crowd with a shorter ram stroke. It's a compromise of stroke vs tearout force though. Tyson, have you checked the fuel tank to see if there's a pick-up line filter or some debris that keeps getting sucked to the line and then blocking it ? We had an old Massey that did that and it ended up being a bit of stick someone had used for dipping the tank... Nice vid and look forward to part 2.
Not sure - is it more to do with it being drawn nearer to the pick up pipe as more time elapses which coincides with it getting warmer as obviously more time has passed ? The thing to check is how long from start up to it starving of fuel then how long once it has restarted to when it stops again. The only way is to drain the tank down completely then find the biggest access hole (filler or sometimes pick up and return plate) and shine a torch in and check the tank and that a gauze hasn't become blocked. The other thing to check is the tank/cap breather pipe. my friend had a JD7930 that used to suck it closed as the day progressed.
good day does Harry the cat go after cattle, or is he just a companion. Have you ever had crops out this late before, or is there a time you never got. it's not like southern Ont. good luck.
my kubota & case dealer sells the newer track loaders plus sells parts for older case 450 track loaders because he sells piles of case farm equipment and huge case construction equipment and kubotas plus forestry equipment wich hes a 1 dealer that sells it all products for every job wich deeres doesent

She looks like she would be a handy little loader for smaller jobs around the farm.
It is... but its kinda to small for bigger jobs and to big fro smaller jobs.. if you know what I mean. the bobcat works better in most situations.

nice little loader. ideal for cleaning around the bales yard.
Nice case 450

Yes. More leverage. The breakout force is applied during the cylinder extensions rather than retraction

I found the problem was the intake at the bottom of the tank where the sediment bowl is... was blocked...Works great now Thanks anyways James.
thanks

Thanks for the information..... I will check it out... But why doesnt it stop when its cold?>

Leave the fuel tank cap loose and run it. If it doesn't stall out you have a plugged up vent in the tank or the fuel cap
I think the linkage on the bucket has something to do with keeping the bucket level as you raise and lower it.

He goes after mic. Yes we have a few times... most times it was cereals thought not canola.
cool loader. hope ya get er running
Thanks travis....she just had a low battery
One big thang on the way the dump on the bucket was when u back drag the sliders wood not get bent that y that are they way
nice videos keep um coming
Will do
Hi. Just a little question... how big is organic farming in Canada? Bw. Hans, Denmark.
Not that big..... but there are a few around
leverage and cylinder travel, mostly to put a smaller cylinder on for the same travel
Thats what I thought.... so the cylinder wasnt so big
Northern farmer š
Neat lil' Case. If it's been sittin' for 2 years I'd be sellin' it. What do you figure it's worth?
Its good for clean up in tight spots.... Right now im not to sure
When i cleaned cattle pens i always built a ramp by the fence so the truck knew where to park.
Great video nice machine.
Those old girls love their nose candy
Sure do
Looks like top fuel filter too close to exhaust an boils the fuel when engine warms up?
It doesnt seem to get that hot though?
i hardly recognized you without the coveralls
lol
I working on restoring one on my channel.

Any chance on an operation manual?
You know I think I do have one
nice little dozer would like to have one
Im going to sell this one.. I barely ever use it
@@Northern_Farmer well damn i live on the east coast N.B
@@Northern_Farmer what would you take for just asking
@@harrytaylor6854 probably around 5000
@@Northern_Farmer i would take it but transporting most likely cost a ton
You said the canola is worth $25,000 to you but how much did it cost to you to plant it ?
For that much probably around 8000
maybe you can rebuild it and do a vid on it probly find more useful when working again nice little machine
I do plan to paint it

That canola can't be good now can it????
Sure why not... once it sits over winter thought it wont be
to me for its size your skid loader would replace it
Thats why I bought a skid steer.. it was easier to move and more handy.
A skid loader cant clean wet or damp cattle pens as well as this little guy. But a skid loader will out run it on most other jobs.
We have a case 850 with a grapple
How do you like it?
