    Nice... now I need every tool 🔧 you used for possibly a 1 time replacement... lol... just kidding, l love tools, l have 3 and 4 of everything. It's because I can't find where I left it last.... thanks for your time

    Very good instructions. I was wandering though, how did you set the side bearing preload?

      I didn’t show it in the video. But set the backlash and then snug each bearing retainer an equal amount until proper total rotational torque is acheived.... by using a torque wrench.. and maintaining the proper backlash. FSM says 3.5 - 5.2 in.-lbs for carrier bearing preload. You will have to add the total: pinion preload + carrier preload to be exact. Thanks
