Aprils Fools aside, this video perfectly conveys the truth and nothing but the truth. I get genuinely sick when people call Dead Cells an MV. It's like saying Banjo-Kazooie or DK64 are first person shooters.
This is such an excellent take on a controversial topic. You’re to be commended both for the elegant logic and the brevity with which you constructed your argument. Kudos.
Absolutely, but its metroidvania elements are so small that it barely deserves the metroidvania tag. Very fun game, would absolutely recommend + all of its dlc though.
@@glorkish_james It missing the open ended/interconnected world, and restarting a run isn't backtracking because the world is different every run. Even in a single run it's impossible to backtrack to previous biomes.

Dead Cells is as much a Metroidvania as Taylor Swift is a Rapper
LOL
But is it a good game?
Hades is better.

@dylangaletti395 Hades is probably my favorite game that I've ever played.

It is one of the best rougelikes.
One of the all time 🐐 games.
I approve this message 🫡
Classic! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, but it ticks off more Metroidvania boxes than it misses.
hahaha 😂🤣🤣
It technically is but I would call it a rouge like
It's not technically one and it is objectively a roguelike so it wouldnt need you to call it one.
