idk if anyone else said it, but thanks for helping those people out, in my XJ, I helped people get out from South padre island out of the sand, to people in bellingham washington out of the snow... people helping people..'Merica
RUclips shot itself in the foot it's reloading to shoot the other one. That's why you are getting a bunch of random Shit. I still watched cause it was pretty cool.
I like how everyone whines about "oh no the enivornment" when they see an excursion but then look at which vehicles are pulling the fuel efficient cars out of the flood water lol
I care about the environment, and so do MILLIONS of people. Don't worry, when the earth is so polluted you can't breath, then hicks like yourself will wake the fuck up.
Zappy595 If electric car companies wanted to create off-road vehicles, they would destroy gas/diesel trucks.. Engines need to suck in air to function whereas a battery operated car could be designed to completely submerge and have no problem. If Tesla wanted to make a truck, believe me, it would shit on these other trucks.
PiggyPin he means the ground is soaked down deep with water so it can't soak up the rain. The rain just sits on top because the ground is already full.
Good on you for stopping and helping other motorists. It's really good to see good Samaritan acts still exist. I do my very best to help stranded motorists around where I live too, most of the people I help out are in the Winter seasons, like people stuck in snow banks or people nose first in a snowy ditch on the side of the road. I've got me a 2001 F350 and my previous truck was a 2001 F150 heavy half ton 7700 series, and that truck actually got used to pull stuck people out more often (so far) as my current F350 has. I probably towed out roughly 10 people in just one Winter season with that old F150 7700 and probably 3-4 people with my F350 so far. Whether they be broken down at an intersection or if they got high centered on snow banks or in the ditch spun out, I'll generally stop and help out, I keep all sorts of chains, hooks, clevis', Tow straps, snatch blocks and strobe lights in the truck at all times for just such occasions.
Hope ya'll thought about draining and changing the gear lube in the rear end. You almost certainly filled the rear end with water through the vent. The serious 4 wheel folks attach a tube to the vent and run it up higher on the vehicle to prevent ruining rear ends.
Some stock vehicles, especially ones like Jeeps, have extended vent tubes from the factory. 4x4 pick ups typically go up to about the frame, or that's what I used to see. On my CJ they got to about the height of the top of the radiator. I think the rear one is the shortest because it's limited by the top of the innner fender. Still, seals don't always hold, the fluids should always be checked.
the excursion is great isn't it!! I have one and when I first started watching this I was thinking that if only someone had one, then u pull one out😂 I was so excited when I heard u say "let's go get the excursion"
I remember years back that they were working on repaving our downtown streets and they didn't have any storm drains in yet and we ended up getting torrential downpours , friend and myself were sitting in the bar as water started rushing in under the door.
I'm not a Ford guy but those powerstroke excursions are badass. I took my focused through water that deep before but I had no choice it was storming one night and I was at a buddies house and he lives down a half mile driveway and it flooded bad that night. Water went over the hood and when I got home and looked in the air box it had water in the bottom of it. Idk how it didn't lock up
As long as it doesn't cover too much of the air filter, it will keep running. A paper air filter will typically stall out the engine and save it, once. If you try to restart, an internal combustion engine is an air pump and will overpower the paper filter, suck water in, and hydrolock.
HawaiianBrian64 Dodge ain't got no trucks. It's Ram now. And they're shitty trucks too. I know some people that had really bad experiences with Chrysler Motor Company. And then they switched to General Motors and they got no issues with them. Though it's better than all the others.
Back in 2004 the Philadelphia area was hit with the remnants of Hurricane Ivan. It caused massive flooding. My grandmother had 3-4 inches of water in her basement resulting in her car being totaled, two garage doors having to be replaced, and a new washer and drier. But the worst went to her sister. Her sister has a small bridge in her driveway that you have to cross to reach her house. That bridge was washed away and had to be rebuilt twice.
Nice! I love driving through flooded streets. I think it's funny how yuppies in their giant four wheel drives chicken out in crossing the smallest of puddles, while people that know how to drive are making it across fine in our lowrider Hondas lol
Dustin Salisbury about spring we had 20 feet of water lol it rained real good we had a bridge that was probably 20 feet from the river in height and it came over the bridge haha
Glenn Goldbeck wtf is wrong with people nowadays? this dipstick is what you get when our country is run by a whiny, douche bag for the last 8 years. go sit in the corner, you're in time out!
Why are people so pissed off at this guy lmao. I saw one commenter wish he would become a quadriplegic because it took him a minute to remember to put his seatbelt on. Like what the fuck?
Those late 80's-early 90's rangers, bronco II's (6:14) are bad news in semi deep water. The airbox draws air from the bottom of the passenger side front fender.
thats because its a ford. those things are not only powerful, but they sit up high and they are heavy. i used to have one with a v10. my biggest regret is selling that
"Hey! Hey over here!! Look at me!! Hey I'm right here!!!! Hey!!!!! I'm waving my arm at you!! Hey I'm over here!! Look! " ....I was able to decipher most of what the fuel gauge was saying, or trying to say. You're welcome.
This some real nice quality footage for 2009
Utkarsh Anand that's what I was thinking, I was watching this thinking it's from like 2014 2015 but nope, 2009 lol.
idk if anyone else said it, but thanks for helping those people out, in my XJ, I helped people get out from South padre island out of the sand, to people in bellingham washington out of the snow... people helping people..'Merica

720p HD and wide-screen back in 2009. I was still messing with 360p and 4:3 back then. Real nice footage!
wut. if the original video doesn't have good quality then youtube can't do nothing. lmao
The Joker that's not how it works
***** wtf dude. youtube can change a bit the quality of the videos but not totally. for example if a video's quality is 360p, yt cant make it 720p
no offence but its just dumb to believe that.
***** yes sorry for ''you''. i wanted to say '' you must be dumb believing that'' but......
lmao anyone see the fuel gadge at the beginning?
3P1CAtomicVideos what about it
Anthony Morrison it was funny, but I guess never mind.

B.Eduardo secretly in my neighborhood when it floods the traffic suddenly starts
Dj Mystery it sure does
your mom raised you right. Thanks for helping out your fellow man
I like how everyone whines about "oh no the enivornment" when they see an excursion but then look at which vehicles are pulling the fuel efficient cars out of the flood water lol
adobewanjerkobi lol right
adobewanjerkobi totally irrelevant to the issue of the environment though.
I care about the environment, and so do MILLIONS of people. Don't worry, when the earth is so polluted you can't breath, then hicks like yourself will wake the fuck up.
Chris Every car has a place.

Im pretty sure if there was 4 inches of rain, we can all assume that the ground is wet.
PiggyPin he means the ground is soaked down deep with water so it can't soak up the rain. The rain just sits on top because the ground is already full.
Fucker, I came here to make this exact comment...
Good on you for stopping and helping other motorists. It's really good to see good Samaritan acts still exist. Now thats down right Neighborly! Thanks for being the good guy here...we need more folks to help each other.
Also I'm really happy to see that there are still people who care about others these days. I really appreciate your kindness.
*News* - "There is a flood warning in some parts of the town"
You - FLOOD?! I GOTTA GRAB THE CAMERA, RUclips NEEDS ME.
y u in rush like ur running from a tornado in beginning
Hope ya'll thought about draining and changing the gear lube in the rear end. You almost certainly filled the rear end with water through the vent. The serious 4 wheel folks attach a tube to the vent and run it up higher on the vehicle to prevent ruining rear ends.
still runs today

After a hard day. Watching you drive through water just made my day! Thank you for that! Looks fun as heck!
Great camera quality for being a 2009 video
when it flooded here in Louisiana a while back, it was amazing how many cars where stalled out. Never been happier to be in a lifted truck.
the excursion is great isn't it!! I have one and when I first started watching this I was thinking that if only someone had one, then u pull one out😂 I was so excited when I heard u say "let's go get the excursion"
Your a good man for what you did bro with or without shoes lol. God Bless☺👍👍
Very eventful video Daniel. I'm happy you gave your helping hand and had the chance to document it.

It uses the Navistar International 7.3 T444E school bus engine lots of power for a 3 quarter ton SUV
This dude gets ready to go to a flooding. Talk about America.
I remember years back that they were working on repaving our downtown streets and they didn't have any storm drains in yet and we ended up getting torrential downpours , friend and myself were sitting in the bar as water started rushing in under the door.
lol i would slap a snorkle on ur excursion and make it a true powerstroke boat
the_gibbstar plays too bad that boat would sink like the Titanic
lol
I like how the guy in the camel color car (7:59) sees you coming creating a giant wake and still has his window open, haha.
Hahaha camel color he says
You are very helpful and Such a Good Samaritan.

HawaiianBrian64 Dodge ain't got no trucks. It's Ram now. And they're shitty trucks too. I know some people that had really bad experiences with Chrysler Motor Company. And then they switched to General Motors and they got no issues with them. Though it's better than all the others.

Apparently you can still pick up a dub sack in a flood.
Nice boat

Aiden Hubbs oh yea all lifted, and its a ford
"That creek is usually a tenth that size" proceed to park 3 ton vehicle on bridge across it. 😒
Nice! I love driving through flooded streets. I think it's funny how yuppies in their giant four wheel drives chicken out in crossing the smallest of puddles, while people that know how to drive are making it across fine in our lowrider Hondas lol
lol I've been waiting for some water to drive my Sierra through. Haven't gotten lucky yet though :/.
Dustin Salisbury why you want to drive it through water for it doesn't even have a lift kit
Dustin Salisbury never mind
Dustin Salisbury about spring we had 20 feet of water lol it rained real good we had a bridge that was probably 20 feet from the river in height and it came over the bridge haha
Ronnie Sandoval lol my truck is lifted 5 inchs and on 35's
imsonutz man, I feel you on that. Last year we had a similar situation in Texas where I used to live. But not I live in Colorado
Those 90s to 2000s Chevys have the ugliest interiors.
Simple and durable, just like it should be.

n8 the gr8 there unsafe to
Nice way to spend a day.. Bet they were happy for the help
Used to have a 2000 v10 gasser excursion. The thing was a beast and one hell of a vehicle.
Gasser Excursion wtf
7:59 the guy in car has his window down. If i was the guy driving the truck I would have soaked him.
Glenn Goldbeck wtf is wrong with people nowadays? this dipstick is what you get when our country is run by a whiny, douche bag for the last 8 years. go sit in the corner, you're in time out!

Those late 80's-early 90's rangers, bronco II's (6:14) are bad news in semi deep water. The airbox draws air from the bottom of the passenger side front fender.
The Excursion boat even sounds a lot like a boat!
Just satin, I was here before this blows up

Why no drifts donuts etc.. I was expecting them
David Christian Maybe on private property but not a public road.
me encanta! ;)
When in doubt power out :)
People in areas that are prone to flooding like this should really install short ram intakes to lessen the chance of hydro locking.
the pick up was heave enough...... you just wanted the diesel! hahahah i would to lolol
i wish i had flooding like this where i live it would be fun to drive my lifted yukon through that i dot get the chance to often
Saw flash flood warnings on my weather radio? LOL.
when the flood hit orcherd colorado a few years ago it took the road out in alot of areas
Damn, that Excursion is one tough son of a bitch.
thats because its a ford. those things are not only powerful, but they sit up high and they are heavy. i used to have one with a v10. my biggest regret is selling that
his truck is a chevy?
LukeSkyPwner He changed vehicles during the video bud.
NickOhio Productions excursions are tall enough
"Hey! Hey over here!! Look at me!! Hey I'm right here!!!! Hey!!!!! I'm waving my arm at you!! Hey I'm over here!! Look! "
....I was able to decipher most of what the fuel gauge was saying, or trying to say.
You're welcome.
