It's interesting to see Steve's reaction throughout the game, although in the end he had to accept Georgia's loss. As a fan of Serbia basketball, when I saw the names of the two teams, I could already predict this result. 😄The level of Serbian basketball is really great. You are also very lucky to enjoy this FIBA game as a basketball fan. When I went to Belgrade last time, I planned to watch the game between Crvena zvezda and Partizan because I heard that the atmosphere of the game there was full of passion, but it was a pity that I didn’t make it due to time constraints. I hope I will have the opportunity to watch it live in the future. BTW, wish you a nice trip in Georgia, ❤ from China.
@@unicornns5695 hvala my Serbian bro, I will definitely watch it if I have another chance. Another interesting thing is that the current head coach of the Chinese men’s basketball team, Aleksandar Djordjevic, is also a Serbian. We respect him very much, but the level of players in the Chinese men’s basketball team is too poor, their performance often embarrasses us fans and a bit of a waste of the guidance of such a good coach. Many fans here think that Serbian basketball is at the top level in Europe, with strong physical confrontation, very smooth ball transmission, and comprehensive player abilities, more emphasis on teamwork, not like France and Germany that play many heroic individual ball-holding offenses. I wish Serbia team continues to achieve good results in FIBA and the next Olympics. 😊
@hce One of the worst things that happened to our national basketball is the loss of Đorđević as the coach. He commanded such respect from the players. I could bet that no player, not even Jokić would ever deny his invitation. Don't get me wrong, Pešić is a legend but he's old and doesn't react on time with changes, rotations and overall decision making. If Boriša Simanić didn't get injured the way he was against Senegal, we wouldn't get that silver medal at the World Cup. Our national team always needs some boost, either being considered as the underdog or some bad officiating to get them going against tougher opponents. Hopefully, China will start developing their coaching culture instead of wasting money on washed up American players. The way I see it now, there is a lot of money being poured into the game in China in the sense of inflated salaries for unworthy players because their names are famous and the opportunity to advertise is there because of it. Instead of bringing foreign coaches, China should send their younger coaching talent to Europe for development and bring them home to work with establishing player talent, between the ages of 12 & 18. Later on with already developed coaches you can bring up young talent from the age of 6 and work with them until their formative years of between 15 and 17. I believe that this system could bring a lot to Chinese basketball as you have an amazing pool of possible talent, unlike most of the world, especially us Serbs with currently less than 7 million souls. Much respect and love from a Serbian student of the bball game. (:
Saw the match live and could not find Ivana and Steve in the stands cheering. There were times when I even forgot to look for them, because the match was tense, Georgia got pretty close at times. Anyway, good effort on Georgia, Serbia is a beast of a team, even without the big stars on the court! Fun video, hoping you'll get to watch a match in Serbia as well sometimes!
Guys you have to visit also a Football/Soccer Game in Europe thats will be a great experience for you. The Fan Culture is much different then in Nord America.. To be a Fan in Europe is a lifestyle. The Fans live for they're Team's. Steve and Ivana good luck to travel across Europe.
I am really happy , you guys are geting a lot of new viewers . I read the coments and think ... they don´t know that about them ?? than i remember , o ne day i didn´t know nothing about you guys . Really strange how i know a lotaboutyou guys nowadays . Thanx for the entertainment and the friendship . Big kisses 😘
Of course, Serbia won, even though they did not play with the best players(Jokic, Bogdanovic, Milutinov...). However, we are too strong for Georgia. We were second in the world last year. We beat Canada too Steve 😊
"Serbia really is one of the best basketball team in the world. Some players even went to the NBA!" - No shiT, really they have some players playing in the nba, wow !
I don't know if you're into Rugby, but if you plan on going to Hong Kong again, the biggest Rugby Sevens tournament takes place in Hong Kong every year in April. It's called the Hong Kong Sevens and its the biggest sporting event here. Canada is usually in the tournament as well, though I don't think they have done very well 😅
Serbia is one of the best in the world.
i thnik Nikola Jokic will be goat after five or ten years playing. that stats will be legendary. like Novak Djokovic
That prediction 12 points for Georgia is crazy , Serbia is top3 in the world. Georgia is like top40.
Well, that could have happened. This Serbian team is not even the second or third lineup, so it was not impossible.
Steve i love your energy man haha! happy to know that you're a basketball fan! and yeah Serbia is the best basketball school in Europe

European fans are different than NBA fans
Serbia is a powerhouse in basketball and have the best player in the nba Nikola Jokic but he didn't play in this game.
Brate me and you have the same taste in videos I seen your comments and account at least 300 times 😂.
