      I think many people take Allegra (アレグラ), which is a branded Fexofenadine, but that's never worked for me. There's ContacZ, which is Cetirizine, and then there's Contac 600+ which is Chlorpheniramine. Personally, the last one is the only one that had worked for me, but it makes my throat feel really dry all the time. Recently I started using Ameton Arumedi (アメトン アルメディ), which is also Chlopheniramine, but doesn't seem to make my throat feel dry like Contac. The catch is I have to take it 3x a day and it's 1.5x the daily dose of Contac (which is why I tried it, but you might not need that high a dose). You'll just have to try some and see what works for you. I'd probably try Allegra first.
      Also, internal medicine clinic (内科) doctors can prescribe antihistamines on your health insurance, but they don't do repeat prescriptions here, so it's a bit of a pain to keep going back to your doctor when you need more, so I've never bothered.

    Add fermented foods to your diet. I was having all kinds of problems with food allergies, and my health was suffering. I added kim chee, saurkraut, miso soup, kombucha and fresh dill pickles. It really helped. You can get natto in Japan as well.

    In Japan it’s pretty common to use Some special sheets to cool your body. You can try that out next time🙂

    Thanks for so much great inspiration! I love your vlogging style, it's so cool to see what you created there with so much love for details! I used to live in Tokyo for two years, then went back to Germany - and now I'm back to Japan again, but this time being married to my Japanese husband. Happy that you enjoyed Tokyo!

    Hi,

      heeey dankeschön für deinen netten Kommentar! 😊 Ich bin ganz normal in Japan angestellt und mein Arbeitgeber sponsort mein Visum. Da hatte ich echt Glück, als ich da angefangen habe. Der Kindergarten in dem ich arbeite ist englischsprachig weswegen wir viele japanische Kinder haben, aber auch kids aus dem Ausland. Danke für die Tipps mit dem Heuschnupfen!! Das probiere ich definitiv aus. Zum Glück ist es in Japan aber jetzt schon so warm, dass die Heuschnupfen Zeit schon wieder vorbei ist. Cool dass du meinen Kanal gefunden hast. 🤗

    You don't actually have 10 days of paid leave *per year*, you have 10 days of paid leave after 6 months in your first year, 11 days after another year, then 12, 14, 16, 18, and then after 6.5 years, you have 20. I've heard that some companies (e.g. in tech) give you all 20 days from the beginning, but my company didn't, but now I have 20 days and use it. :D

      Also, the next silver week is in 2026 (the last one was in 2015). It's in September, and it's when Respect for the Aged day, Autumnal Equinox Day, and "Kokumin no kyujitsu" between them fall immediately after a weekend, so you get the weekend, and then another 3 days off in a row, so if you take the Thursday and Friday off, you can get 9 days off and only use 2 days of paid leave.

    • @hontome
      @hontome  2 месяца назад +1

      True true! From next year I'll have eleven but it still strikes me as so little time off haha
      I'm happy you take all your 20 days! It's so typical for Japanese to not take them all. I could never...😂
