I have been drinking bottled water for 30 years, and have been tested for thyroid problems and my test is normal, turns out it is from lack of hormones after my HRT was taken away in 2002. I do not drink water with fluoride in it. I now turned gray and lost about 70% of my hair.
You guys have got the best toppers out there. And trust me when i tell you I've tried many toppers. I love your wavey top! I've got a couple in two different colors. You are absolutely correct about color too. The color blends and absolutely does not have to be an exact match. I comb the topper and my bio hair together and voila! A perfect 'match' every time! Nobody's hair is all one color! The clips are metal and hold securely. Many other brands have cheap plastic clips that are flimsy and eventually dent in the middle from use. Not yours! I've got such an extensive collection of your wigs and toppers, i just bought a set of clear shoeboxes that can fit one on top of the other, to keep them in. Three to a box, and all 12 boxes are filled with your pieces. I should add a sign to the top of the boxes and call them "Godiva World!" Now, I must end because I'm off to browse your site. Because, like I said, there's no such thing as too many toppers and wigs!❤

I agree about getting older, but WE'RE STILL STANDING! HA. I just received my 'topper' today due to thinning hair on top AND sides where once I had hair thickness like a carpet! WOW, is all I can say! What a difference it makes. I got it in the Sandy Silver because I have light brown hair with some gray in it and it matched my long hair PERFECTLY! Wished the long toppers came in Sandy silver. But I now can put my long hair in a pony tail or clip it up in a claw and NEVER feel self conscious as previously there was not enough hair to cover my ears (think 'see thru')OR thats its a "wig topper". Thanks for being so gracious as you addressed the problem many of us have but are too embarrassed to talk about. I’m blessed to have a hair stylist who does custom pieces. She has already colored and highlighted my hair and when the hairpiece comes in, she will color and cut it to match mine. She said it will last a lifetime. Your video helped me understand how this will work. The part I’m not sure about is how to wash it and care for it. Do you have a video for that? She also said she doesn’t know anyone who doesn’t have two hairpieces so when you send one into the salon for styling you have the other to wear.

I am 55 years old. I have been wearing clip in extensions almost everyday for the last 61/2 to 7 years, I Love Them, I’m planning to get the micro beads extensions put in later this month. Amazing videos, and I thank you, Rochelle and Danielle, for doing an incredible job of explaining SO well how to use these tops and wigs. (Plus, the two of you are so darn cute, oh please!!) I just - today (TODAY!) - received my very first hair piece, a mono long top; and, as soon as I opened it and put it on, it was just O M G For anyone reading this, these are beautiful, just as advertised. The clips are really easy to use and the hair looks and feels so natural! I have quite a bit of hair still, long, no bald spots, but I'm globally thinning out - a lot. For me, this was the perfect time to start getting used to hair pieces. So I thank you both for being a) an adorable duo and b) for providing these oh-so-helpful and inspiring and fun videos. Thank you so much for your open honestly about aging and about hair changes. I just turned 30 this year and my hair is starting to thin, I didn’t have thick beautiful hair up begin with, but I could work with it in my 20 it seemed. Now I’m researching wigs and I felt discouraged bc I don’t want to feel like I’m trying too hard, I’ve never been one to be flashy but I still want to look pretty for my partner and daily life. I would like to thank you for your raw honesty about YOUR personal feelings about yourself. First let me tell you that you are beautiful, truly you are. However I can attest to what you’re frustration is with getting older. I have had a similar experience with my hair thinning considerably and literally changing from thick beautiful hair to thin receding and dull. Whenever I complain or feel depressed and try to explain what it is I’m going through, I find people are quick to judge me as being too vain. Some of us women really liked feeling pretty and our love for our “assets” gave us confidence and a sense of well-being. Being less than, and having options to supplement that loss is a godsend! I too have a husband I love to look good for. But I can tell you he’s put up with a lot of tears when I bought cheaper toppers and when they didn’t work out.. I wasn’t going anywhere! Lol. You expressed what I’ve tried to explain to others but somehow couldn’t get a sincere genuine response. Im impressed! As a hair stylist for many years, I never really like wigs! But I love these! I have short hair now because I can't blow out my long thick hair anymore because of my hands are full of arthritis. So i would love to wear these. They don't cover your entire head and feel hot.

Get one I am over 65 always had thin hair now worse after menopause. They hold great even on very thin hair. Dont pull or hurt. Takes 5 mins to put on and stays even in wind and rain storms. Easy to care for. I kept my long brown hair tinted natural color. Matches perfect. I chose real hair but both are great.

Wow, I can’t believe I finally found the perfect hair for my thinning hair on top / sides...... I have been steadily thinning on my top sides like yours... I tease the top of my hair and by the end of work, it has fallen down. I like #2 and #3 for me - which do you recommend for someone who has keep all the hair up for work purposes- I’m a Nurse , so I like all of my hair up in a bun on top? I wore several wigs when I had cancer in 2013, but when my hair started growing back, I just had them in the drawer. So...I went on your website & watched the videos of how to make wigs into toppers :) I already had a medium topper, but I wanted a couple more, so I cut them!! I really need the TOP FULLNESS & LOVE wearing these toppers! I even cut one of them really short...purchased your pony tail scrunchies & wear it up & have the fullness in the front too! I will post a picture of those soon! I just turned 69 & my hair is not thinning...but I still LOVE the fullness on top that these give me! I tried to post a picture..but it wouldn't add! These are the most Beautiful, natural looking wigs I’ve ever seen! I’ve been sitting here over an hour, and I’m so impressed I want one of each!! I believe my color would be Silver Stone. Aside from my hair thinning from aging, I have begun to notice a little more hair loss when my thyroid level is a bit low, due to Graves’ disease. Are your wigs easy to care for and are they washable, also, can a low heat curling iron be used? I’ve been wearing Toppers and extensions for my hair loss for over 5 years, after weight loss surgery (and having PCOS) I would buy human hair and color them to my hair...but I missed having high lights..until Godiva’s Secret! Id love to try this because I'm losing hair and its frightening and frustrating trying to cover it up. I am a vocalist and I need to look my best and not worry about my hait thinning. Hi Rochelle, I love your honesty! When you took the hat off, and let down your hair, I thought wow, you have gorgeous hair! Then you showed us where your hair is thinning. Getting older is a BIT****!! My hair is falling out every day, and I am mortified!! I must be honest that I am nervous about wearing a wig, especially one that has clips...EVERYTHING snags my fine and thinning hair. I just have to unconsciously run my hand through my hair, and I feel a "snap!" I almost have a panic attack!

And, the metal clips we use and sell have a gentle rubber gripper - this way, when you snap the clip, your hair is connected to the rubber - this helps. Also, there are steps to remove the clips from your hair. Never pull it right through, just gently lift the clip away... Looks great! I just went on your website and I did not notice any silver or grey colour pieces. I stopped colouring my hair...and I totally love the colour now but I have thin hair especially around my crown and just need something to cover that spot as I have grown my hair out shoulder length and I like to wear it up or put it in a small ponytail. The problem is the thinning spot really shows on my crown. Would you have anything available for that area of the head?

@Christy I too have very thin hair. Just turned 64, and bought my 1st wig The Freedom in Auburn Sugar-R, I absolutely love it! I feel pretty again! Most women feel the same way, it's part of our "Femininity." I'm going for my second wig in May, SABRINA-hoping for the IRISH SPICE but, sold out at this time, hopefully will be back in stock by May. I love watching mother and daughter together. They are both...GORGEOUS! So very helpful. With my 1st wig I bought the brown average wig grip band (it works marvelously) also got both brushes, wire & purse (but my purse brush is missing "teeth") I intend to buy the shampoo/conditioner, their hair spray and the wig clip. I am so happy with this company! Give them a try, you won't regret.....

I love your honesty! It truly is a “BITCH”! My hair started falling out 5 years ago after knee surgery, and I’m only in my 40’s. The stress of my husband getting dementia at 50 has kept it thin. Love this topper. I an just transitioning from my blondish wigs to gray-white which is the color if my real hair now. The wig helped me grow my grey-white out easily until i could use a topper to put it up.

Looks beautiful on u!!. I got the short one in silver stone. Unfortunately I don't have enough hair where the clips are so i tried moving them where I had more hair but I guess I didn't do a good enough job. I wore long pony tails for years and ruined my hair line, hense needing my wigs. So nothing lost I have plenty wigs now thanks to you girls❣

Thank you. Aging CAN be cruel. I always did my makeup and hair since high school. I thought I'd always do it until I couldn't. Well you never know what life will throw at you, like thinning and hair loss. I stopped doing my hair and make up 5 yrs ago and I'm only 61 and so depressed. I take care of my mother for 9 yrs now. I would like to see this instruction using someone with less hair volume than you have naturally. Would this be possible? I have the receding problem at the temples but much less hair and also no fringe/bangs. Looking to get a wig or piece but can not decide what would be the best choice for me.

I have been drinking bottled water for 30 years, and have been tested for thyroid problems and my test is normal, turns out it is from lack of hormones after my HRT was taken away in 2002. I do not drink water with fluoride in it. I now turned gray and lost about 70% of my hair.
What if I don't have a thyroid?
You guys have got the best toppers out there. And trust me when i tell you I've tried many toppers. I love your wavey top! I've got a couple in two different colors. You are absolutely correct about color too. The color blends and absolutely does not have to be an exact match.
I comb the topper and my bio hair together and voila! A perfect 'match' every time! Nobody's hair is all one color! The clips are metal and hold securely. Many other brands have cheap plastic clips that are flimsy and eventually dent in the middle from use. Not yours! I've got such an extensive collection of your wigs and toppers, i just bought a set of clear shoeboxes that can fit one on top of the other, to keep them in. Three to a box, and all 12 boxes are filled with your pieces. I should add a sign to the top of the boxes and call them "Godiva World!" Now, I must end because I'm off to browse your site. Because, like I said, there's no such thing as too many toppers and wigs!❤

I agree about getting older, but WE'RE STILL STANDING! HA. I just received my 'topper' today due to thinning hair on top AND sides where once I had hair thickness like a carpet! WOW, is all I can say! What a difference it makes. I got it in the Sandy Silver because I have light brown hair with some gray in it and it matched my long hair PERFECTLY! Wished the long toppers came in Sandy silver. But I now can put my long hair in a pony tail or clip it up in a claw and NEVER feel self conscious as previously there was not enough hair to cover my ears (think 'see thru')OR thats its a "wig topper". I’m blessed to have a hair stylist who does custom pieces. She has already colored and highlighted my hair and when the hairpiece comes in, she will color and cut it to match mine. She said it will last a lifetime.

The part I’m not sure about is how to wash it and care for it. Do you have a video for that?
She also said she doesn’t know anyone who doesn’t have two hairpieces so when you send one into the salon for styling you have the other to wear.

You have no idea how much this means to me! This was on my opening feed...I have been watching how the women of color put their wigs on, bout a wig, bought the glue, now have the wig(too much hair) no clips, and scared to death to try it, as I have little hair in the front to trust not ripping off, besides the fact it seems like such a process! I just turned 30 this year and my hair is starting to thin, I didn’t have thick beautiful hair up begin with, but I could work with it in my 20 it seemed. I would like to thank you for your raw honesty about YOUR personal feelings about yourself. First let me tell you that you are beautiful, truly you are. However I can attest to what you’re frustration is with getting older. I have had a similar experience with my hair thinning considerably and literally changing from thick beautiful hair to thin receding and dull. Whenever I complain or feel depressed and try to explain what it is I’m going through, I find people are quick to judge me as being too vain. Some of us women really liked feeling pretty and our love for our “assets” gave us confidence and a sense of well-being. Being less than, and having options to supplement that loss is a godsend! I too have a husband I love to look good for. But I can tell you he’s put up with a lot of tears when I bought cheaper toppers and when they didn’t work out.. I wasn’t going anywhere! Lol. You expressed what I’ve tried to explain to others but somehow couldn’t get a sincere genuine response. I now after hearing your same struggle know I’m not the only one that feels lost without my “good hair” lol thank you and keep up your amazing journey and know that you have touched many others with your honesty!💕

Im impressed! As a hair stylist for many years, I never really like wigs! But I love these! I have short hair now because I can't blow out my long thick hair anymore because of my hands are full of arthritis. So i would love to wear these. They don't cover your entire head and feel hot.

Get one I am over 65 always had thin hair now worse after menopause. They hold great even on very thin hair. Dont pull or hurt. Takes 5 mins to put on and stays even in wind and rain storms. Easy to care for. I kept my long brown hair tinted natural color. Matches perfect. I chose real hair but both are great.
I’m very thin at my temples as well. This is a great option with the clip placements

Wow, I can’t believe I finally found the perfect hair for my thinning hair on top / sides...... I have been steadily thinning on my top sides like yours... I tease the top of my hair and by the end of work, it has fallen down. I wore several wigs when I had cancer in 2013, but when my hair started growing back, I just had them in the drawer. So...I went on your website & watched the videos of how to make wigs into toppers :) I already had a medium topper, but I wanted a couple more, so I cut them!! I really need the TOP FULLNESS & LOVE wearing these toppers! I even cut one of them really short...purchased your pony tail scrunchies & wear it up & have the fullness in the front too! I will post a picture of those soon! I just turned 69 & my hair is not thinning...but I still LOVE the fullness on top that these give me! I tried to post a picture..but it wouldn't add! These are the most Beautiful, natural looking wigs I’ve ever seen! I’ve been sitting here over an hour, and I’m so impressed I want one of each!! I believe my color would be Silver Stone. Aside from my hair thinning from aging, I have begun to notice a little more hair loss when my thyroid level is a bit low, due to Graves’ disease. Are your wigs easy to care for and are they washable, also, can a low heat curling iron be used? I’ve been wearing Toppers and extensions for my hair loss for over 5 years, after weight loss surgery (and having PCOS) I would buy human hair and color them to my hair...but I missed having high lights..until Godiva’s Secret! Id love to try this because I'm losing hair and its frightening and frustrating trying to cover it up. I am a vocalist and I need to look my best and not worry about my hait thinning. I am 54 and my hair is doing what yours is doing and I am having the hardest time trying to find a wig I like or one that is comfortable and easy to manage. I am 4'10" and need the height as well. I wish the 80's hair would come back in style...lol

Hi Rochelle, I love your honesty! When you took the hat off, and let down your hair, I thought wow, you have gorgeous hair! Then you showed us where your hair is thinning. Getting older is a BIT****!! My hair is falling out every day, and I am mortified!! I must be honest that I am nervous about wearing a wig, especially one that has clips...EVERYTHING snags my fine and thinning hair. I just have to unconsciously run my hand through my hair, and I feel a "snap!" I almost have a panic attack!

For wigs, you do not need clips to secure your wigs, there are lots of other ways. And, the metal clips we use and sell have a gentle rubber gripper - this way, when you snap the clip, your hair is connected to the rubber - this helps. Also, there are steps to remove the clips from your hair. Never pull it right through, just gently lift the clip away...

Looks great! I just went on your website and I did not notice any silver or grey colour pieces. I stopped colouring my hair...and I totally love the colour now but I have thin hair especially around my crown and just need something to cover that spot as I have grown my hair out shoulder length and I like to wear it up or put it in a small ponytail. The problem is the thinning spot really shows on my crown. Would you have anything available for that area of the head?

I too have very thin hair. Just turned 64, and bought my 1st wig The Freedom in Auburn Sugar-R, I absolutely love it! I feel pretty again! Most women feel the same way, it's part of our "Femininity." I'm going for my second wig in May, SABRINA-hoping for the IRISH SPICE but, sold out at this time, hopefully will be back in stock by May. I love watching mother and daughter together. They are both...GORGEOUS! So very helpful. With my 1st wig I bought the brown average wig grip band (it works marvelously) also got both brushes, wire & purse (but my purse brush is missing "teeth") I intend to buy the shampoo/conditioner, their hair spray and the wig clip. I am so happy with this company! Give them a try, you won't regret.....

I love your honesty! It truly is a “BITCH”! My hair started falling out 5 years ago after knee surgery, and I’m only in my 40’s. The stress of my husband getting dementia at 50 has kept it thin. I know that I have seen women in public that have thin hair and it becomes a focal point. That’s what you see first, now how she looks as a woman or how beautiful she is.

Thank you. Aging CAN be cruel. I always did my makeup and hair since high school. I thought I'd always do it until I couldn't. Well you never know what life will throw at you, like thinning and hair loss. I stopped doing my hair and make up 5 yrs ago and I'm only 61 and so depressed. I take care of my mother for 9 yrs now. I would like to see this instruction using someone with less hair volume than you have naturally. Would this be possible? I have the receding problem at the temples but much less hair and also no fringe/bangs. Looking to get a wig or piece but can not decide what would be the best choice for me.
