Cotton Candy and Confessions reminded me of My Melody and My Sunday--and it turns out, they were meant to be that way! I didn't read the details on the highlight medley too much, but I read from another comment on a different video that these two songs were actually unit songs... Vivi, Hyeju, and Yeojin for Cotton Candy and then Hyunjin, Gowon, and Yeojin for Confessions. I love them both. I don't mind Loona songs that sound similar or sound like you can play them one after the other--heck, I love You and Me Together and I'll be There too! Confessions and Cotton Candy take me back to those old Loona days! Plus, I believe they helped made the album more cohesive? If anything, I think this is one of the more cohesive albums that came out post-BBC Loona era, after ++ and xx. That being said, YES--HOCUS POCUS SUPREMACY!!! WOOOHOO!!!
I listened to the mini for the first time while at the gym this morning, and after I heard Hocus Pocus, I put it on my walking playlist and then had it on repeat the entire time I was on the treadmill. It gives me WOW 2.0.
This song reminds me of any song of Bruno Mars 24k Magic Album, especially “Finesse” Hyunjin’s part in the build up before the chorus is so good. Her voice is powerful in that verse🔥
Omg I super agree with the initial comment about Cotton Candy and Confessions, they were waaaay too similar- really good songs, but it even seemed like they were the same key. Hocus Pocus HITS though! Really good album overall 😊

third time's a charm i guess because this is the first Looble album that i enjoyed from start to finish 🙂↕️🙏🏼 fell in love with Confessions instantly and tbh wasn't expecting any other song to tip its crown afterwards - certainly not the last song on the album since it almost always ends up being a generic ballad - but then i heard Secret Diary... 🤯😍 safe to say those are my two favorites 💚🤍
