F-15 Strike Eagle Show of Force

- Shows of force have historically been undertaken mostly by a military actor unwilling to engage in all-out hostilities, but fearing to 'lose face' (i.e. to appear weak). By performing a carefully calculated provocation, the opponent is to be shown that violent confrontation remains an option, and that there will be no (or no further) backing off on the principle the show of force is to defend.[1] Shows of force may be actual military operations, but in times of official peace, they may also be limited to military exercises.[2]
Shows of force also work on a smaller scale - i.e. military forces on a tactical level using mock attacks to deter potential opponents, especially when a real attack on suspected (but unconfirmed) enemies might harm civilians. As an example, most air "attacks" during OEF and OIF have been simple shows of force where jet aircraft drop flares only while making loud, low-level passes. One recent 12-month report for Afghanistan noted 18,019 strike sorties by United States military aircraft, but weapons use in only 3,330 of these missions.[3]

Amazing how nimble they are for such a big aircraft!
Flankers: Hold my vodka.
The interesting thing to me is that these F-15's are flying about as slowly as they can go and still remain airborne.
@@gav6189you mean those deathtraps😂
One of the best F15 passes I think I've seen.
Bad ass pilot showing what the Eagle can do!!! His wingman providing high cover, love our military🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@Moxie Drapo, I thought his wingman couldn't keep up....?
Surely that pilot must have spotted you on a previous loop... and WOW... he definitely gave you an EXCELLENT view.
Strike Eagle is my favorite fighther
Raw Power! I love the F-15E Strike Eagle she is a MONSTER..if I make it and get a rated position I'm going for this baby!
I had toyed with the idea of visiting the Mach Loop for years but always pussied out. THIS is the video that finally kicked my ass and I've been many times since. Thank you sir!
Ahhhh, sound of freedom. Music to my ears.
So exciting when you see them coming in the distance, especially when you've been up there for days and seen nothing. You know straight away that it's an F15. How often do they use burners?
Very very rare in the past but never now! just too many togs up there!
Elwyn R Shame. It's good you haven't put afterburner in the title of thumbpic though, more chance of getting them in trouble.
***** Its not that they are not allowed to use them, they are not to be used to showboat!! If wee come across any these day's we dont put them up due to the media after any story they can get due to the popularity of the loop.
Aggressive flying. Love it
Best Job on The Earth! 🇺🇸🦅
This is THE sound of "ripping the sky apart"
Totally awesome clip.
That gave me goosebumps lol that was freakin awesome
First one on the afterburner!
little afterburner there I like it
Now its the ex well I guess when your 106 to zero you have that flexibility
Excellent whare was it filmed. better than f1..
How can you now love flying the Loop?
They flew so low a car alarm went off!
That is unbelievable..
It's aircraft magnific !!
Glorious!
Excellent whare was it filmed. better than f2
Garuda team on their way to take back Gracemeria.
What a beauty!
Sick. AF.
Best picture ever would be on my wall
Oh my god
Goosebumps
Awesome 😎 power.
Holy shit where is this? I'd be so happy to be filming this live... is it England?
Anti-Social Nerd They are based in England but this was shot in Wales, an area they visit for low level training.
Love this...thought burners were banned in the loop??...not that I care!!!!
Heaven is close to me🙏
Those f-15s look mean. Great looking aircraft. Do F-16s use the Mach Loop..??
would assume not. i live near lakenheath and mildenhall so i see the majority of aircraft coming in. f16s may occasionaly use it if they come over for an excersise, just like the f22s have recently. been sitting at lakenheath recently, watching about 10 f15s and f22 raptors head off to an excersise.
I have the Mach Loop on Loop ;-)
0:27 R.I.P earphone users...
I hate car alarms.
Level hard! :)
I wonder how many G's the pilot took on the turn at the 24 second mark?
+John Rossman lol yeah that had to hurt.
A lot....simple turns to us are usually mid to high Gs....99% of us would pass out!!! The one thing these pilots have to constantly work at is keeping in top physical shape!
حررررررررررررررب F15
EL MEJOR PASAJE
That's some of the best mach loop footage I've seen.
Anytime the F-15 flies anywhere or does anything it is a show of force! lol
Especially with both wings intact! 🤣
F-15 is still one of my all time favorite birds. 0 losses, fast AF and that sound 😮
@@Vern_Trertnert😂😂😂 so accurate though
@@Vern_Trertnert😂😂😂
Love how they set car alarms off
This has to be one of the best aviation videos ever. In fact I can't think of one better. And yes I watch hundreds of them ( sad ) But the F15 on the loud pedal, jinking with that backdrop? Superb stuff. I'm going to watch it for the next hour or so!!!!
Isn't that 1,200 U.S. gallons of fuel hanging off the wings? How can it possibly maneuver like that?
William Swartzendruber lots of fuckin power
This is crazy man.. lol
I bet Putin has been to this Channel lmao
@ililililil4847 It's more to do with engineering of shape and stability than sheer power. Of course any dual jet engine plane will produce a lot of thrust, but its in the shape of the wings and body that allow such tight maneuverability.
Great seeing the F-15 going so low in the mountains.
What a great video 📹, love the heat signature and vortices!!!
Catch me if you can!!!!
It has the BALLS , Why not use them ?
I worked on F-16s when I was in but our base had F-15s and A-10s at the time and there is something just awesome about watching all military aircraft that the little boy in me still just loves.
Now that's what you call turning and burning !!!!!!!! These are the muscle cars of the skies.
I like that Jimmy M, Muscle Cars of The Skies. Magnificent Beasts those F-15's
not cheap ass muscle cars, they are F1 cars.
That first pass... OMG! What a stunner!
1st guy absolutely nailed it ... one ot best mach loop passes i've seen
I want to thank you or this footage, brother. All the way from Australia. Mate, this is some awesome flying. Thanks for sharing.
The f-15 strike eagle is truly a force to be reckoned with. My favourite air superiority fighter of all time!
❤
F15E is a strike fighter, F-15C/D is air superiority fighter
That's known in the business as "fan service". So good even the car alarm was set off. Oh, and props to the cameraman for keeping it in-frame for the entire time.
What idiots would put a thumb down for this video, Elwyn R your videos are the best.
And in afterburner!!! Nice
Always loved the F-15 , such a beautiful aircraft ❤
one of the best videos. Love F15s, they way the pilot banks bit just awesome
That is the most aggressive move down low I have seen at the Mach Loop, that first F-15E was yankin and bankin, pulling some G's. Wow! I'm betting that aint no rookie at the loop! Gave me the tingles. First rate camera work, Elwyn!
I'm fortunate that I live 3 miles from where the F-15 Eagles are produced, and that I see them and F/A-18 Hornets flying almost daily. I love when they are doing touch & go's since if the wind is from the West, their 9 o'clock turn onto their base leg is almost over my house. It's loud, but it's the sound of freedom!
I could watch this all day long. Great flying, powerful aircraft and great filming. Thanks!
insano!!....insano!!! Habilidades impecáveis!
Best flying I've seen in a regular setting. Its the epitome of "hotdogging" it. Can you imagine how much fun that must be? Most awesome job in the world.
You don’t see many 5G turns in the loop!. Pretty awesome.
Absolutely magnificent first pass!
Makes me proud to be an AMERICAN!!
RAF, get a couple of Squadrons, please.
The Strike Eagle is a beast!
Love your vids Elwyn. Beautiful country and Jets. Might have to make it out there one of these days.
My work is about a mile off the end of the runway at Seymour Johnson and I get to see these taking off and coming In to land sometimes all day long. These things are loud and they'll get right above us and shoot straight up with afterburners wide open and it will set off car alarms sometimes.
That's great 👌 Seymour Johnson jets were here last year and they nailed the mach loop 👌
@ :21 - :29 Awesome!! Superb job!!
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵🇩🇪🇪🇺🇨🇵🇬🇧🇪🇸⚔️⚔️⚔️📧🙏⚔️⚔️⚔️
0:29 Those afterburners!
wow,, after burners were on,, i would bet that was hella loud,, Nice : )
The most awesome entrance I've seen at the Loop!
I remember as a kid back in england playing outside these things would come screaming over head ,and as an adult i would be walking home from the pub pissed out of my mind and a pair of these would scream past 100ft from the ground and there was no sound until theywhere almost out of site ,then you shit yourself, all this at 3am
its just amazing how those powerfull machines breaks the atmosphere above the earth deepest cultural frontiere while we live our empties lifes of empty black holes
Que lindo
Seems 47 people need to get a life :D
Great footage of one of the deadliest planes ever to grace the skies !!!
I WISH TO KISS THIS JET AS I KISS THE POSSY OF MY GIRLFRIEND
Lol at the car alarms being activated. I recall my baby son being inside our car as my husband and I stood nearby at East Midlands airport to watch Concorde leave, back in 1994 /1995. I had no idea how loud the plane would be but my babba was screaming and the alarm was going off. I felt such a bad parent and it still upsets me now even though he is 25.
just the thought of seeing a fighter jet fly in front of you may be just 300feet away with full afterburner gives me goose bumps
The sound is just incredible👌😍
I LOVE THIS JET I SOW THIS JET TODAY
The wingman behind him is saying to his back seater, "check out Mac, dam does that look fun......oh wait"
jjs4you2 Two Tornados but they were late around 7ish.
Elwyn R I think I missed something in your reply? Two Tornados?
jjs4you2
The F22 and F35 are great but I hope America and her allies keep the F-15, 16 and 18 around for many years to come!
I always imagine what it wouldve been like on the beaches or Normandy. The boys (RIP) attacking and a few of these or F-22 Raptors came down along the coast with afterburners.. Can u imagine the morale? Still, they won
Great video footage well done!
WOOOOOOWWW! At 00:26 in reversing the turn. Exceptional
Elwyn R: Yo tha man!!😷⛄🇬🇧
Mentor and Prodigy With after burner by the way!
Was the lead aircraft piloted by Tom Cruise?!
Whilst it was no match for the incomparable Tornado GR4 (that is not its fault) the Strike Eagle certainly looked the part, a beautiful warbird.
Have to stop by every few months to get my refill of yanken and banken F-15's, this video is right up there with sex.....um, yeah!
This video fails on one account. It is not 20 hours of F15 goodness. Excellent video though! Love the F100/F110 sound track.

El pasaje del primer avión ....el piloto parece argentino. No se si tiene claro el sentido del espacio y el derrape del avión . Genial
Perfect spot for a little house, lots of windows and a smile on my face everyday.
That first pass was the loudest noise I've heard on my phone so far!Could I hear car alarms going off at the end?Probably!
this is a great vid
the lead pilot is having more fun..gave a waggle or two for the spectators...i dig that..
Starscream😁
Ah, that scream that just says "NEVER SHOT DOWN, BABY!!!"
