Yeah I learned the hard way that the bolster and scale is ground together as one piece! I had a cyborg that my boy dropped and broke the scale and I couldn’t get a scale for it! However I did love the knife for the short time I had it! Great video kev!!!
These are very cool, Kev, but I’m STOKED more for my Mini Growler that I just got out of my mailbox an hour ago! It’s the PERFECT accompaniment to V1 or V2, so I’m glad I have the family altogether now, Thanks buddy!
Trying to justify the extra $150 (actually more because of the discounts) when comparing the jack wolf to the divo is just not working. At this point the manufacturering is not what ur paying the extra $150 for. Its to get the hot new thing and be part of the cool kid club theres no way the jack wolfs are machined $150 better than the kubey knives. I own some of each jack wolf, kubey, and divo. Just like with my high grain designs deville im overpaying for the little better machining quality but mostly for the look of the knife and the prototype phase that went into getting the little things right a great clip jimping that is perfect a detent to die for and a closing action that lets be honest the jack wolf lacks. Thats y u have to throw skiffs in them. My kizer dlc militaw at $220 blows any jack wolf out of the water on action alone and the fit and finsh is so close that idk that u can really knock the militaw i mean the inlays r ever so flusher on the jack wolf but its so miniscule that one could hardly say its $20 better let alone $100. The issue with kizer is not all there knives are designed as well as the militaw and with jack wolf they r they have a set design language and all there knives feel the same as far as fit and finish goes not to mention they get a lot of the little details right that people want to see on a premium folding knife. Just to be clear i do think the jack wolfs r great knives i own a gunslinger but they r overpriced im positive he cold sell them at $300 and still make bank on them especially since he dosent disclose the oem they use which leads ne to believe its a cheaper one but with maching capabilities that people dont suspect. Like srm, or the same oem tuya uses which im not sure who there oem is but that would be my best guess as to which oem jack wolf is using. My guess is at the runs they r doing they r having these made under $100 for each unit or if jt is over $100 its not by much. Thats my guess anyway. It’s really nice to see them implement the better bearings I hope this catches on with other companies.
I only have Venom Jack. It's comparable in quality with WE and Bestech. Kizer is one tier below them, although my Militaw is flawless. WE is above all of them in matter of bilboarding. I don't like that thick "Jack Wolf" on blade if I can be honest. WE keep blades clean in most cases.
Agreed- here in Canada i bought the militaw with dlc and gold dark matter cf for 336cdn$ ... they want $524+tax ( so$600 cdn) for a Jack wolf. No thanks, not for me unless i was rich. I've paid that for knives, but these don't excite me enough to pay that price. Maybe if I loved everything about the knife, but a lot of the configurations that they put out lately just aren't my perfect Style so I can't justify it

I can't stand JWK hardware. I always slip out the bit at some point. So annoying imo. But the CS from them is awesome.
They updated it sometime in 2024. So it’s deeper. I haven’t had an issue since then
