- Hey family!! In today's video we're prepping for Jonah's birthday! We have a few errands to run and when we get back we make some sausage balls, punch, and the birthday cake!
Sausage Ball Recipe:
NOTE: I doubled the recipe in this video.
1 pound hot or mild sausage
2 cups bisquick mix
2 cups shredded cheese
Mix all ingredients and roll into small balls, a little smaller than a golf ball. Bake at 400 for 13-15 minutes.
Punch:
NOTE: This is for around 1/2 gallon of punch, I made a lot more in this video. 🤣
2 packs kool aid, we used blue raspberry
1 large can pineapple juice
1 2-liter ginger ale - I usually only use a little over half of the ginger ale, just start with a little and taste it to get it where you want it.👍
1/8 cup sugar
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Omgosh, Jonah is 10 already?!!??!! Happy birthday Jonah 🎉🎉🎉 I think he will love the cake. Its beautiful already.
Also, Manley and his whistle. I don't think I have ever seen a child so young who could whistle like he does. He's adorable.

Falon, have you ever had taco balls? Same idea as sausage balls but use ground beef instead of sausage, and add a pack of taco seasoning. They’re good dipped in taco sauce. Can’t wait to see the cake!

I prep a lot of poppers at one time and freeze them. We cook them from frozen on the grill, and it works great. It actually works better because the cheese doesn't ooze out. Happy, happy birthday to the birthday boy!

I tried sausage balls because i saw you make them. They are delicious! I use the Red Lobster gluten free biscuits mix so i add the garlic and butter mixture after they are done sooo good. Happy Birthday Jonah

Yes I remember those throw blankets being $1.50. My girls would buy them for their two toy poodles because they are warm but cheap enough to toss if needed. They are now $3.88 here also. I bet the cake will taste delicious. Manley is so good at whistling!
