E005 Excursion to Furnas 2/2

This is Part 2 of our video Excursion to Furnas. We visited the Thermal Pool at Terra Nostra Gardens, the hot springs at Poca da Dona Beija, and enjoyed a scenic walk in the beautiful Terra Nostra Gradens. We then went to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal of cozido stew that had been cooked in the traditional way in the local caldeiras. From there, we ascended from Furnas Valley up to a sight seeing location overlooking the valley. We enjoyed the spectacular views of the valley, including the town of Furnas and the lake nearby called Logoa Furnas. On our drive home, we visited a tea plantation called Cha Gorreana.

Very enjoyable video. All the video footage was interesting and spot on for this type of presentation. Your narration was controlled and added immensely to the presentation. Also, the variety of scenes that were video taped gave the presentation added depth and interest. Music selections were good and varied which added another professional touch.

It’s a really good video. For a guy who’s never been to Portugal, your videos give a good idea of how’s the weather and people is the city. I’m sure this video will help other viewers decide if they wanna visit Portugal or not.

Portugal is very diverse, especially between the islands and continental Portugal. There is beauty in the land and the people wherever you look. My biggest hope is that I have captured that beauty in my videos sufficiently such that they will help you make a good decision to visit and explore the place yourself one day. I don't think you will be disappointed.
