One of the tastiest and best food deals I've seen you present; steak, salmon, Mahi-mahi tacos WOW! $5 at McDonald's doesn't buy much.
Not only that but these are REAL tasty food unlike McD’s who are all highly processed food and bad fir you!
These cheap eats made me smile. I actually believed that food in Vegas are almost always marked up by at least 100 percent!
Do keep in mind that is not high grade salmon. It’s farmed Atlantic salmon.

I was so hoping you were going to add the steak into the wrap, as I personally thought that would of been a great combination of flavors.
While I do enjoy a great Steak House or one of the High End Buffets, back when they were open. It's nice to see the good cheap eats that Vegas was famous for back when I 1st started going to it.
I feel like I'd eat there everyday if I was vacationing in Las Vegas. It looked like you both wanted the last taco. 🌮🤷♀️

That salmon salad looks so 🔥 and that wrap. 4 in my party had the steak & eggs it was delicious and they accommodated our changes (adding mushrooms, onions and such) it was all so delicious...but it wasn't 4.99 🤣

I thought these prices were a thing of the past.
I was surprised that a place like that on the Strip still exists. To be able to get a half pound burger, with fries, for $4.99 is a steal.
It's sooooo good! Very good quality, 3 drinks for $10 banging and the restaurant is really nice!
they still make money so it should be like that everywhere. cost about 1.50 for burger 1.00 fries. they make a lot of money because of the sheer volume!

I can totally vouch for this. I used to work at the Shops about 10 years ago, and I would go there 1-2 a week on my lunch break. I was amazed at how dead it was most of the time. I think people maybe thought the name "Ocean One" sounded like an expensive seafood place, but that's very wrong. I'm surprised to see they still have the same amazing lunch specials even 10 years later. Good for them. A true Vegas "hidden gem".
I was only in Vegas for two days, but I was definitely able to experience this establishment. It was pretty good. Just like you, I ordered several plates, including the calamari!

I thought the video would be 5 DIFFERENT restaurants where you could get 5 deals. This video was far too lengthy for the same place and same food.
The only thing missing to make it a Derek Buffet is Fried Chicken
That all looks delicious! I would do the same and order a bunch of different dishes for a private buffet!! They should make a flat rate sampler with about 5 items for $20 and call it Derek's Sampler.

Yes, we’ve eaten there before, but for breakfast n their food is very delicious.😍The service is pretty good too. We’ll have to go back on our next trip back to Vegas soon.🥰 I can’t wait!

With all the canceled & delayed flights in the last few months I decided to delay my trip to Vegas until it gets better with few cancellations.I will definitely stop at this Ocean One restaurant not only for the price but the food looks good & so much of it.I love Derek & Catherine's videos.

We kept going back when we went to Vegas early this Fall! I found Ocean One from another RUclipsr and suggested it to my family to try. We loved it and the value...and not to mention how delicious everything was! Servers were super nice too because I wanted extra Wasabi sauce for my Tuna Tartare (and to try with the flank steak) the second day and she said it was an extra couple dollars which I said I would pass on, but she said that her friend was the chef that day and she would ask him. She came back with tons of extra for me and said they were glad I liked it and came back!
I love love OCEAN ONE. I made it my tradition since I saw your video 2 years ago. I take and send everyone there. Strong drinks... I forgot about the 3 for $10 when I just went in October that when they brought the 3rd one I was feeling so good that I thought someone sent me a drink 🤣🤣

It really is good! Portion sizes aren’t small and when we visited a couple years ago they were running a drink special too. For me and a friend for drinks and lunch was $30.
So I guess my dumb question is why are they priced so cheaply? Back in the days of "old Vegas" the theory behind cheap buffets was to get gamblers into their casinos--so they made up for the losses in the restaurants with more warm bodies--gamblers. What would be the reasoning behind the Planet Hollywood having these cheap eats?

That USDA label should be followed by a rating. Prime, Choice, etc. saying USDA beef doesn’t say much.
Could be no roll. The person grading the meat chowed not to for some reason.

All you can Vegas. Thanks so much for this great hidden treasure. I watched this video at 10 this morning and by 1pm I took my family of 4 out and had a entree each and a appetizer and 2 deserts also 3 of us got the 3 for 10 drinks. The bill was only 74 dollars. That also included one soda for my daughter. Everything was amazing. We got the bacon burger the salmon over mashed potatoes the chicken wrap and fries and wings. Then I got the almond joy cocktail. Amazing. Thanks so much for your channel. I follow u guys always.

Went to Ocean One during my Sept trip bc I'd heard of the $5 menu. Unfortunately I got there & was seated at 10:55am, so I was given a regular menu...no cheap eats fo me! It was ok, but failed to lure me back (so far anyway). Gotta watch those times people! Thanks for another tempting vlog!
Fried calamari with marinara just seems gross to me. We always serve it with just fresh lemon juice or Aioli.

This is one of my favorite places in the city, the entire menu is grid The 3/$10 drinks deal, C'MON, you can not beat that. You can upgrade your adult beverage to a top shelf or premium brand for a couple $ more $3/12 or 3/$15 depending of the choice, this includes wine too...You cannot find any better deal on the strip. Ocean One is one of our favorite restaurants. Mahi tacos are great so is the orrechette pasta is so good.
