to be completely honest im not the biggest fan of this album(pls don't attack me its just my opinion). idk, the first time I listened to this album I was amazed but after like a month it got a lil boring 😭😭. but I do like some songs like deja vu(amazing production btw), good 4 u, and drivers license. Those were the only songs I liked personally but other than that its a pretty decent debut album and if ur interested def give it a listen
I get what you mean. I thought the album was boring when I first heard it (which wrecked me because I’d been obsessively following and listening to Olivia for a year without ever feeling bored) because the songs felt a bit too repetitive. I mostly chalked up it up to the structure since for so many of the songs it’s ‘problem with guy’ -> ‘reaches revelation/solution at the end’ like a classic teen movie. But after a few months of listening to the songs individually, I think they’re all actually great on their own or paired with a few others. A better strategy for this album might’ve been to release some of the tracks on a deluxe version.
