I think Hope ur ok is such a great way to end the album bc despite the entire tracklist prior being about a romantic heartbreak, she ends it with talking about bigger problems and other people she loves and saying that this chapter of her life is only one of many. She's a storyteller, right? So she weaves details and commonalities throughout the songs that are about the same topic. We know through the previous songs that he moved on quickly, she references that in Happier. So it's all about the same story. Every breakup track (so all minus jealousy, jealousy, brutal, hope ur ok) on Sour is about that specific relationship, and navigating the complicated and "sour" feelings that came with it!
