- Hey there,
Here I used my modular system to create an infinitely generative song. All sounds are created randomly, but obey rules through scaling and modulations. The combination creates a "controlled coincidence", which sounds contradicting at first, but describes exactly what music is. A combination of mathematics and spirituality.
So if you've had a stressful day then lie back and listen to the epic sounds of this system. :-)

Really beautiful to listen to, awesome work. I’m still wrapping my head around how it all works, it’s basically a loop but it’s never exactly the same. I’m guessing the baseline is a midi sequence, maybe also the drums? The modulation is clearly random, but I’m really amazed at how it stays musical

I wonder how much operator input is in final product - e.g. filtering, sequencing, triggering, etc. - because if it is entirely hands-off, and I do mean 100% organic - HOLLY SHIIITAKE this is incredible. AIAutomoton.

This is mega cool but I’m sceptical about it being purely generative - there must have been some influence over some of these sweeps and transitions right? It seems too structured.
Not a criticism, I’m interested. I think I need a clock next to the system and a feed of the recorder 😅

so this sounds like the music from "Color Out Of Space" when the son is on his comp....playing with the dog...idk it just came to me no research...i was trying to remember where Ive heard very similar sounds
