This came out at the perfect time. I've been thinking about getting off my ring for a couple of months now and to see this topic online was very surprising. These are the kind of videos that the internet needs (but I love every video you make, so keep going girl!!).
Wonderful video! These are conversations we should have more often. It's crazy women get on BC when they are in their teens without fully knowing the risks. I was on the pill for a year and my mood was terrible. I was often enraged and depressed. The worst part was that I didn't understand how much it was affecting me until I stopped taking it.
I have been loving this format!🌟 Such an important conversation to have. I have never taken the pill, and I always thought that I was missing out on something or that I was being somewhat irresponsible. However, I feel like I can listen to my body this way, and the secondary effects scared me, hence why I never even tried. It was so nice to hear about different situations and experiences these awesome girls were brave to share. Thank you! 💛
I stumbled across this video and I just think it is so beautiful and raw and powerful. Made me want to go and research it myself and properly think about what I'm putting in my body, the hormones involved and to try overcome the fear of coming off a contraceptive you know in your gut isn't right but are too scared to do anything about.
