Hey man I'm sure I am not alone in saying this but really appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos, your passion for the sport really shows through keep up the good work!!!
Every time I visit southern Colorado, I always see tons of pronghorn in the flatlands. Such beautiful animals and most ppl dont even know that we have them in our country! Thanks Chris for yet another awesome hunting video!!!
@@ShadeTree_Certified for the record me and many others that actually watch his videos all now that he takes very long range shots especially with a bow. That can be very tricky
I just got my custom v3x 29. It shoots great I put the hamskea epsilon on it wt the cor loc system. And I have spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin. Fits awesome .I am running Conquest control freak pro stabilizers wt the smacwrap tech a 10 inch in the front and a 8 inch in the rear.
Love your content man. Your vids have been such a help to increasing my archery skills. I was wondering if you could do a video on different releases from different price ranges to see which ones are worth buying.
Hey man awesome job on the videos but quick question how often do you wax your strings I’ve notice in the past couple videos your strings seem a little dry? There are also other comments of people talking about your strings
i went go hunting a couple weeks ago me and my buddy shot a couple does and when we went to go get them the buck they were with wouldn’t move my buddy got within 15 yards of it and it didn’t budge he probably could have fought it if he wanted to
If ya don’t mind me asking. What state were ya in. I heard the gps tell you to turn right on highway 20. I live on highway 20 in Nebraska. And I’m gonna guess that’s where you were cause grass doesn’t get that tall in Wyoming
I hate when people take all these long shots in open country with wind to much can happen and end up making an animal suffer with a bad shot im glad this one didn't suffer long but i wouldn't take a shot past 40 maybe 50 to much can happen after that heck a whitetail can duck an arrow at 30
I have to agree. Flinging arrows at long distances hoping to connect somewhere on an animal that hears the sound of the release and moves before the hit, is just unethical. Speed of sound is 1125ft per second. More than three times faster than the arrow. I do not respect hunters who have no patience to wait for a closer opportunity. That’s part of good hunting skills. The new young RUclips creators want fast results, biggest racks, at the expense of the game animal. I wonder how many wounded ones get away, and they don’t show it, or shrug it off with excuses. I mentioned this last year on another botched shot, but obviously my advice was ignored. Nice groups on an 80-100yd target in your backyard without ears and legs is no justification you should take that shot on a live animal period.
The man is also a professional archer. Not to dock ride the guy or anything but he literally makes a living with a bow so in my opinion as long as he’s done it professionally if he didn’t feel comfortable making the shot it wouldn’t have happen. Little bit of a difference between somebody that shoots in their yard and hunts a little verses a pro just saying
I agree. I will hit a bag at 45. I wont shoot unless I know I am hitting lungs and they are out withing 120 seconds. Its impressive, but respect the animals. I love his content, but this is not how to promote the sport. This was savage. He was no better off than being hit by a car.
I live in TN where there are hardwoods everywhere and have 2 comments to this: 1. I regularly shoot 30 yards and have yet to have a deer duck my arrow. Shot 6 this year, 4 last year, 3 the year before and recovered them with no problem. I always aim right at heart and if they attempt to duck it, hits lungs every time. A combination of your rig and your training will dictate distance, not someone’s opinion. 2. I have never seen a single video where people hunt out west on public land or somewhere they have never been and they aren’t prepared to take a long shot. I don’t hunt west nor do I have plans to but if I did with my bow, I would make myself comfortable out to 50 yards. He only had tall grass in between him and an alert animal and that’s pretty common from what I see. It’s easy to say you have to make a shot at 20 yards or less when you hunt property you know and especially if you even have sporadic hardwoods to ambush but when you are forced to stalk with virtually no cover or concealment, 20 yards is a pipe dream and it’s easy to criticize others from your foxhole. Ultimately, I don’t know if I would ever hunt with my compound bow out West due to how I feel about hunting but I don’t think I’m going to criticize others doing it either.
This is why you don’t shoot animals this far out. Although you got lucky and watched him bed and finished him off it’s not ethical because other wise he runs off and dies slow. Reaction times of these animals and many others is ridiculous and idc what bow yoi shoot at what poundage. You won’t be faster than the animal at that distance. Do better
I like you man but you’ve been absolutely reckless with arrows lately calm down and make ethical shots man no content is worth these risky desperate shots bro
On the edge of unsubscribing with long "hail Mary" shots like that. Animal has way too much time to move. I usually like your content, but that turns me off. Thanks at least for not bragging on how far it was.

Mad props for long range shots! First time this year I switched to a single pin slider. Practicing more than 40 yards now and it's challenging.

Yeah not much context on the shot but quartering away like that from that distance…not a great recipe.

anyone else see the uv multi pin sight?
Hay man I was just watching the video while hunting got haft way and a buck walked in and I shot it it my 3 deer
Do I need to win a tag to hunt this sheep or can I go to a guide and just hunt one?
Beautiful buck, but wonder about the ethics of taking long range bow shots because he suffered before he died. Still beautiful trophy.
Multi pin ultraview. 🧐
It’s called a pronghorn
3 pin & is that the New 2023 Matthews Bow??
Can someone tell me what a “Rode-A-O” is??? I’ve heard of a rodeo but not a “Rode-A-O”
