This was a big part of my life ages 21-24 when I would get off work 2am at Taco Bell and ride 5 miles home. Sometimes I'd go across the street to the gas station and get 2 beers to drink before cruising home on the backroads listening to Emo mixes. My favorite kind of 'me' time.
It's people that work/worked in food service like you that ran so we could walk. I use to walk to my job at McDonald's at 5am, sometimes below zero, so I respect the grind.
Ages 14-22 for me, 25 now and took some years off from music like this bc my ex was in the scene and it hurt to listen My ex literally recorded an ep with modern baseball so shit hurt Were together from 18-22 Shit hurt, im much happier now but damn memories that you are over still sing
Haha! Trust me, I'm constantly checking behind me for cars and always peeking around corners, because this is the time of night where all the crazy drivers come out lol😆
its like you went into my brain and took out one of my memories, used to bike around all of the time around Dayton, Ohio late at night listening to emo music on a speaker for about 2 years straight!
Holy shit finally someone else who's into Turnover. To anyone who's reading this go listen to good nature, peripheral vision, and their self titled EP. They're one of my favorite bands recently. I drove 3 hours away on a day trip back in March and on the drive there and back I listened to good nature the whole way. Such a killer band. Anyway, enough geeking out, this video was amazing. I looove the scenery and am really just a massive sucker for anything at night. I stay out on drives until 4AM so it's nice to see someone else who stays out late listening to emo.
@@HotZenny Oh no way that's sick! I had no idea they were originally a pop punk band so that first EP really caught me off guard. Sasha is already one of my favorite songs
Brother, I can't tell you how many dusky summer evenings, late nights, and early morninngs I've spent listening to Good Nature and Altogether while working second and third shifts alone. FANTASTIC band. Glad to find someone else who loves them!
Really wish I would’ve found this kind of a playlist back when I would get off work at Domino’s at 2-3 AM and drive the abandoned streets of the tiny mountain town I lived in. This kind of music in my old 90s rustbucket, sunroof open, windows down, an open highway and the sparse streetlights and illumination from the moon and stars really hit.
holy fuck. thankyou so much for this! just imagining the time when this was recorded and how must have the wind felt in your face gave me peace. thankyou for sharing this wonderful masterpiece!
Okay so I never heard Chinese football before and the name was amazing, song starts playing, sounds pretty sweet, and I think "man if they don't sing in Chinese I'll be sad" and literally I didn't think they would lol that's awesome, they sound awesome
You know it! I've been collecting a lot of great tracks, so as soon as it get warm enough for me to ride my bike again; I can make some more playlists 😎 but if you can't wait till then, I have a few other playlists on my channel, albeit different genres though!!
Makasih! Even though the Midwest is the pretty bland compared to the East and West coast, it's got a little bit of everything! Big cities, small towns, rural areas, dense forests, lots of farming, hilly and mountainous region's, ton's of industrial complexes, water; so there are lakes and rivers pretty much everywhere! Lot's of diversity too!
Cool concept, bro! But I think it would be even better if u can add details of your ride like total distance covered, the route and/or place you biked in, and also the time of start and end time of it. So maybe we can gauge the idea on how late and far you've come.
@@dom621 I just relistened to this. I'm from another country dude and also a cyclist. Cyclists usually use Strava to record bike rides. What I said might be dumb but the total distance covered and runtime should be enough fo the details. Sorry! edit: This just connects with me as I usually ride late at night when vehicular traffic is also lessened since there are no dedicated bike lanes here in our country and most car and motorcycle owners don't give a fuck about cycists :(
oh you kids !! its weird when i watch stranger things and im like what ever happened to my banana seat bike . before walkmans sneaking w my best friends singing dirty deeds
I've been thinking of making a Spotify Playlist! Especially since there are some songs that didn't make the cut, or I had to remove due to copyright issues.
If you ever get to riding again, you should try taking biddle south from bishop park, past the old trenton plant. I used to ride that way all the time when I was a kid.
Try adding "band" on the end it. It should be the first video that comes up in the search, the channel its on is called "Nakagawa No Music". Hope this helps :)
