Everyday is a gift. I used to get depressed about waking up to the winter. You have nice families. You have nice houses. You have warm houses. You've got some money. Nothing to ever worry about again. Right now there's someone living on the street just trying to survive 10 degree weather. Gotta put things in perspective, fellas. Anytime you get depressed, just leave everything you have at home and start walking around and try to survive a few nights outside.

Right now there are two bloody Wars on this planet, plus numerous conflicts. But, regardless of how many books you read, movies you watch, or tv series....or like me listen to father/grandad stories...you can never understand horror it truly is...I know the subject very well 😭😱. So, if there are no bombs falling on you, you do not have to walk for a semyclean water 5miles, or you can take your privileged passport and have funds to purchase airplane ticket to wherever, you are healthy...you are fine. This is so true. You just have to enjoy the simpler things in life when you get older. Watching the snow come down from the window while enjoying a cup of hot coffee or tea. Enjoying a hot bath or a long walk. Looking up at the birds. Moderate exercise helps keep positive and eating healthy and plenty of rest. Have a hobby. Better yet if you have so much financially help those in need.
Whoever you are (rich, poor, etc.), you’ve had days you wake-up and nasty weather makes everything SO much worse. THAT’S the point. THAT’s what makes it funny. Its relatable. 😂

I grew up in Park Ridge and now live in Buffalo Grove, both adjacent to Arlington heights, where Sebastian grew up. My uncle Dave IS the clone of Sebastian's dad. I graduated from NIU, where Sebastian went and when I had my graduation party my uncle said "oh, so you think you're better than me now? I did the tuckpointing on the Schaumburg Ikea... what you gonna do?" Since I was born, he's called me meatball...

In my 60's now. Once I started walking 3-5 miles per day everything changed for the better.
Added some toga and dumbbell work and felt even better.

If you drive in Chicago--there is a lot of weather change and temperature volatility--the towel is to clean off your dashboard after clearing off SNOW AND SALT Sebastian !!! I totally get it and it's normal to me....& prob most folks. One day you're like "what the heck I am keeping this for...?!" Is it emotional investment? holding on to the past? resale? Plans we never enacted? Who can remember? At some point there was intention.

My Dad would hate any kind of waste. He would cut mold off a piece of bread and eat the rest. He said if he ate a little mold it's good for him cuz it's like penicillin. Never was sick in his life. Worked till 80 and lived to 93.

Billy Joel has such a tremendous catalog of excellent music that at this stage of his career he doesn't need to write new music. It's been so long that people will criticize it good or bad. I felt it was a decent song, but again, he has so much material to perform that he doesn't need to write new songs. He's a legend.

Pete is an awesome person. He is mourning the loss of his mother and father, and dealing with the every day normal people problems, yet he’s always in an upbeat mood and doesn’t vomit his negative emotions onto others, like Sebastian does. I like Sebastian, but he’s often very annoying on these podcasts. He complains about the most minuscule problems and takes his mood/bad day/minor problems out on Pete, who’s always in a great mood. He’s a mood vampire. Possibly has a personality disorder in the NPD family. He might be richer than Pete, but I’d prefer to hang out with Pete over Sebastian any day.
Pete is living in the Real World. Sebastian is living in the “Hollywood Cloud” that sucks the living life and soul from those morally weak and confused life forms. The bright shiny pluses outweigh the down and dirty minuses.
Some people are so poor that all they have is money.
It sounds dumb, but sin in front of a 10000 lux light for 60-90 mins every night...right as it starts getting dark outside

My late mother-in-law was a bit of a hoarder. When we moved her into an assisted living facility she did not want to part with anything. We told her we were putting it all in our attic (we donated the stuff) and she died thinking we had all of her treasures.

I assume you are being sarcastic but in case not, it was my mother-in-law not my mother. It was a decision the whole family made. She was never going to use 500 Tupperware containers that were missing lids or lamp shades with no lamps (at 86). It was a white lie that made everyone's life easier. She had diagnosed OCD and thinking the stuff was in our attic allowed her to stop obsessing. Never once did she ask me to retrieve anything.
Sebastian, you need to write a style book called ''Caught In A Croc!'' hahahahha (or your next Special title)

It's an Italian thing (fridge) lol... my dad same way. He would drive to Miami from key west (2 hours) bc he gets a better deal! He's paying 3 bucks a gallon for gas to drive to Miami! And the logistics to get a fridge from Miami to Key west in a Cadillac?! Bc this guy won't pay delivery?! Delivery is a rip off says my father. And i have to add to my comment... when my dad passed (3 homes went to 3 kids) The things we found out father keeping in his homes wtheck is up with closets full of Dove soap, paper towels and i won't get into what was in his garages!!! I live in NYS they banned bags at the grocery store so I carry reusable bags and emergency supplies (just in case) not sure if Chicago banned bags as well? but no big deal if his dad carries them
