Efectivamente, yo vendi una propiedad en Peru y cuando quise abrir una cuenta para resguardar mejor ese dinero descubri que es mas facil abrir una cuenta en USA que en Panama. Me sorprendi con el numero de requisitos y preferi ir a lo mas sencillo que fue en EEUU. Es cierto que hay gente que abre cuentas offshore para malos propositos pero la mayoria lo hace porque no confia en la insegura banca de sus paises.

Many youtubers are telling it is not possible to open account remotely. Which is true or what is untrue has become a confusion. Is it mandatory for a non resident to visit Panama to open an account ? What is the initial deposit especially of crypto friendly bank ?
Thanks for you comment! Some Panama banks will open bank accounts remotely. So it depends on. Some branches will need you in person. If you open an account remotely the bank might ask a higher minimum deposit than if you come in person. Saludos 👋

Some banks will ask for credit score and most important is source of income.

You can but it can take a while for them to be effective and banks take commissions.
