You can sum things up very simply: You get what you pay for. A $100 soundbar will never sound better than a $500. soundbar A $500 won't sound as good as a $1000 soundbar. Once you reach a price point, say the $1000 price point, things begin to be incrementally better to a lesser degree. So a $2000 soundbar will be better than a $1000 soundbar, but the differences are less than say, a $500 compared to $1000. We dress this up with specs and try to justify why cheap soundbars are good, or good enough. Usually because we don't have the money for a $2000 soundbar, and we want to feel good about what we have bought. It's that simple. You get what you pay for.
Bought a 7.1 Atmos Soundbar hoping to hear footsteps behind me when playing games. Never happened lol. Done with sound bars and overhyped Atmos. Wireless reference 5.1 surround system with separate speakers is what I’m getting now.
Bose hasn't shared specs ever and are top notch... like Sonos, if you're good, last thing you want to do is enter the specs game... that applies to any business.
